The magnification from our test is 1.8X, whereas the distance with 2XTC is 4mm (with ER30), max magnification is 2.7x. When using with SMC2, the max mag. is 2.4X, and 3,2X with SMC-2. It is recommended to use our SMCs. anyone has tried this nauticam set up with other 3rd party wet lens? i do not own a SMC...

so... am i right to say... i only need a N100 Macro Port 125 ( for the sony 100mm) and a N100 extension ring 30 II for use with both the sony 1.4x TC and 2x TC? oh! i just saw it in their port chart.. it is indeed 37430 - N100 Extension Ring 30 II.

the 100mm is like 6mm wider than the 90mm.. i look at my 90mm port...might be a tight fit...

is there no compare .... with a SMC ( for example) vs putting the 1.4x/2x convertor on it
