okay... 2 cents worth.. not sure about everyone...but i want to touch,feel,look at the lens /camera before i buy them... new or used. price.com.hk - i looked at the prices and some even though they say they have stock... that is not 100% certain. i went to the shop in HK that say they have stock, but they said to me... its next week before it will come. maybe i looking for a lens that was quite new. i guess, its best you can message them and confirm that they have it before going down.. the price is imo, the best in AISA that is not JAPAN ... as their tax is low. for diving housing in HK, i also went to look, but same as many shop... you looking for certain small items, like float arms, FO cable, etc.. they will have... full housing, i think not many shop will keep so many around... check and maybe need some deposit before they will bring in.. i also would like to know where to link up for HK as the shop i used to go to has closed down! Changi Airport SIngapore.... .ishopchangi.com you can buy from the singapore changi airport if you happen to go by, it is like 9% less then what you get in Singapore itself. as changi sells it less GST ( good and service tax) which is 9%. interestingly, you can buy and get it send to your address in singapore ( not sure about hotel) and you get a 9% discount!! imo, some camera shop in singapore, you can get lens / camera cheap than what the official sony/canon/nikon shop sell for.

i guess you are shooting with a dome? if you are ...very likely you will see part of your dome. i wont need to put a wide angle lens on it... imo...

Yes. I tried the smc2.. and oh my... Good results but hard to nail down. Smc1 is easier to manage. Good note on the particle bit.

Thanks... So if I put a 1.4x/2x on. I can shoot something further away... Then... If I then add in a wet lens... I will have to get closer... I am thinking of faster moving object that I can't really get too close to use the 1.4x/2x. If I see a subject like a lovely calm nudi... I can still pop on a wet lens to get details....

why not using float arms? either dedicated float arms or the stix styled options

Hello I am trying to understand ... What is the difference between using wet lens option with the 100mm... Vs using 1.4x /2x on the lens. F stop to me.. matter less.. as I want to shoot at high f stop anyway. Does the working distance change if I use wet lens vs using 1.4x/2x?

i know that.. but i remeber that you can only turn it on..if the macro lens is on the gopro... have they updated it?

i am very interested in that focus peaking .. can you share more info on how to get it on.

from an earlier post here.... #2: When using with 1.4X TC, N100 30 + Port 125 left 14mm space betwen the lens front to port glass. The magnification from our test is 1.8X, whereas the distance with 2XTC is 4mm (with ER30), max magnification is 2.7x. When using with SMC2, the max mag. is 2.4X, and 3,2X with SMC-2. It is recommended to use our SMCs. anyone has tried this nauticam set up with other 3rd party wet lens? i do not own a SMC...

would you all use the 1.4x or/and 2x ... for underwater exclusively?
