Nauticam/Canon WA questions
Does it matter where the plane of focus is/was? I am not sure if pixel peeping needs to be in focus plane or does not matter. Mostly because i do not exactly understand pixel peeping. I realize sharp image from out of focus, obviously pixels has something to do with image quality, not sure I understand about corner pixel peeping.

Nauticam/Canon WA questions
If I understand correctly, you would like me to use the original size image, crop a corner and upload the crop sample? I will do what I think you are asking for.

Nauticam/Canon WA questions
waso, I am attaching a couple of images, no crop, no edit, so you can look pixel peep if you desire, of course there are different f/stop depth of field varies and images resized to enable upload here, not sure if that affects how you can see the quality of the lens performance.

Nauticam/Canon WA questions
Hello, I shoot R5, for wide angle I chose the Canon Rf 24-50 with a WWL-C, it seems to have a sweet spot that is not so wide, the ability to close focus is a lot of fun, if was a very affordable option and travels well compared to WACP lenses. The ultimate would be Nauticam FCP, out of my budget, for now I use my very affordable set up and do not pixel peep.

Canon R5 Overheat / Nauticam Housing
Indeed, R5 is supposed to be a very good camera, I am very satisfied with still images, on land, there seems to be no issue with over heating. My attempts are only half minute, sometimes is overheat warning, immediately upon switching from still images to video, blinking red camera warning. I thank you very much for the recording options, and yes, when using on land, the card gets hot, obviously heat generating process. I will do all I am able according to your suggestions in hopes will allow to capture some video. Makes sense it would help to change settings.

Canon R5 Overheat / Nauticam Housing
Thank you again! Your description leads me to believe there may be some hope to still use 4K/60, switching to IPB. Also, there may be possibility to simply use FHD, 59.94P, IPB. I hope hope hope, am able to use video. The other options, unaffordable, purchase new or add recording monitor which is expensive and added equipment. I have thought about selling, which I know I would get hammered on the price able to sell vs purchase price, additionally, perplexed on what to change to, something much smaller and nearly equally capable, having full manual control is absolute. Cameras change so fast these days, certainly not the Nikonos V days, or even SLR. Any change would be a multi thousand dollar cost again.

EMWL angle relay lens question!
Hello Davide, it is redesigned, slimmer, weight similar to the 5" however provides 7" view. New specifications, resolution 3840x2160 vs original version 1920x1200. Each held title of being ultra bright 2200cd/m2 and 2200 nits. All new to me, seemed the V2 was the way to go. Kraken still selling KRM07 at discounted price of $1499, KRM07 V2 is $1999.

EMWL angle relay lens question!
I wanted to avoid the expense of a monitor and housing, I have purchased a Kraken 7" version 2. I am shooting a Canon R5 / Nauticam housing. I am hoping the monitor will be useful, additionally hope that I do not need to depend on focus peaking, not ever used previously, however, I though it may be easier to discern on monitor compared to through viewfinder. Dang, hoping for the best, as mentioned, headed to the pool to check it all out prior to an additional purchases.

EMWL angle relay lens question!
Hello Chris, appreciate your conversation. I have always used Nauticam 45 viewfinder, recently acquired the new 45 which is an improvement over orignal and very helpful. My issue is even with 45 viewfinder and Rx eye correction, still have compromised ability to see detail / sharp focus until cataract lens exchange is done. I am thinking the monitor will provide, a larger/closer look, additionally a good view / larger view if using focus peaking when using manual focus. Also, interested in EWML 160, a monitor will provide the ability to flip image without EWML Relay Lens. Additional thinking, the investment in monitor vs relay lens might be a more useful placement of $'s, however, seems will be a completely new adventure using a monitor and fear more equipment to tote around and much too cumbersome to enjoy it's use underwater. The purchase of the monitor is gamble at this point. Next is getting assembled and to the pool to see what I have gotten myself in to.

Essential Spares for Underwater Photography?
Interesting quote that applies to this particular subject, what to pack as spares. Underwater photographers and planning / packing for underwater photography adventure face planning, purchasing, packing size & weight challenges. " I am doing many different things to prepare for the inevitable failure of one of them" by Jessie Eisenburg. I felt this quote is accurate to my thinking in planning and packing for my adventures.
