one thing that is really nice (I just got my housing) is that the power switch motion is blocked and protected from moving too far and breaking the power switch on the camera (this happened to mine and a friend's GH5)

Coming back to this... and I wanted to thank Balazs for his communication. As I a said, the issue I was having with my GH5 was I wasn't pushing the trigger in far enough. I've been testing with a new GH7 (the trigger slides on much easier) and I'm getting great results with my Inon z240s. I'm in the market for some hybrid strobes so I'm hoping that there will be a model / solution for some good compatibility there. Thanks!

ok, this might be a bit of user error on my side. The GH5 has some contacts on the edges of the shoe which make a really tight fit. It looks like some extra force is needed to seat the trigger properly and then I can see the Manual/TTL settings. I'll do some tests with my Inons to see how they fair.

Still preliminary but it looks like the turtle is not fitting perfectly into the Panasonic hot shoe. Updates as they happen.

I mean't that I can see if the second curtain change makes sense, and it is a good suggestion for testing. In any case, Balazs is going to get back to me.

Normally I’m using the FL70 mini flash and that puts up TTL/manual as an option (and fires fine). I can’t see if second curtain sync does anything.

Has anyone had any luck with a o-turtle on a Panasonic camera? It looks fine, the camera detects the trigger when it is on, but it doesn't recognize it as a trigger that does TTL. It also never fires the flash.

I saw that setup listed in the nauticam port guide but couldn't quite figure out the effective Macro ratio or working distance when using the CMC. I'm typically shooting with the Oly 12-50 in macro mode (about 43mm)
