EM-10 Housing?

  1. If you don't want to wait for the 14-42mm from Nauticam, deepshots are offering a 3D printed zoom gear for this lens. (www.deepshots.co.uk)

  2. yes , i do that , i think i will have all ( housing /port/gear ) in max 7/10 days :)

  3. Well ive finally ordered my housing/port and new tray. Hopefully will be able to go diving with it in a couple of weeks time. Will report then how it performs

  4. For the 14-42EZ lens you will want either the macro port 35 when using as wet-lens capable set-up or the 3.5" dome port + 20mm mini extension if you want to use it as a general semi-wide job.

And yes.... the gear is now available both in black and amazingly summery orange. Actually the colour is called Dutch orange :). Maybe it has something to do with the fact that the material comes from Holland :)

  5. Ive gone with your recommendation on the macro 35 port. I will end up getting a dedicated wide angle when funds permit

  6. Oh.. Btw... You might want to be careful which wide-angle lens to go for. Wetmate will be a safe bet, but, I'm still waiting somebody to report if the UWL-H100 M67 will work well.

  7. You misunderstand. Ill probably go for a 9-18 or 7-14 with dedicated port, not a wet lens

  8. New EM-10 housing has now finally arrived. Looking forward to testing it out

  9. Has 14-42ez lens now been evaluated? I've seen that the port chart has been updated to include it? When will these be available in the UK?

  10. These are available now, we have them in stock.

This set from my friend scipione has the Inon UWL-H100 28LD in it (flat version no dome)

Look for the shots with 14-42mm lens that are wide angle. You can also compare with 8mm fe and especiall7 9-18 olympus zoom

In my opinion performance of 14-42 with Inon lens is the same of 9-18 zoom (average for both on the GX7) and actually worse than the same inon lens on my RX100 compact but it does give flexibility if you shoot video

You can also see some shots of the 14-42 with Inon UCL165 again for me those are pretty mediocre and similar or lower to the RX100 with the same diopter

The 35mm port with 14-42 Pz and wet lenses is the only option if you want an all around micro 4/3 video rig but does not seem that exciting to take still pictures

  12. Interesting. Some good shots posted by your friend. Will be going with the 9-18mm olympus lens for my "general W/A" with the eye to eventually get the fisheye as well.

He is good. The Olympus cameras perform much better with the 9-18 lens compared to Panasonic that are not really sharp. Am sure you will be pleased
