Dave_Hicks Posted March 21 Posted March 21 Congrats on your upgrade! You know this will still work on the Z8? Just set the EVF view size on the camera setting to the smaller option.
Eyal C Posted March 21 Author Posted March 21 Thanks, Dave! Appreciate your advice. To be honest, I hardly used it — max 10 dives and that’s it. But good to know it would work nicely with the Z8 as well!
Dave_Hicks Posted March 21 Posted March 21 With the Z8 you use the EVF to both shoot AND review. You don't use the LCD screen. This makes the Magnified viewfinder very useful, more so than with your D850. You should consider hanging on to it for a while until you settle in with the Z8 and maybe decide if you need it or not.
TimG Posted March 21 Posted March 21 It’s the EVF review facility which I find really appealing in switching to mirrorless. Terrific not to have to switch between the viewfinder and the screen to review. 1

It's a killer combo.
TmxDiver Posted March 22 Posted March 22 Is it the "40 degree / 0.8:1" SKU 32214 or "32 degree / 1:1" SKU 32213? I'm considering this for Sony a7rIV in a Nauticam housing. - brett

Eyal C Posted March 22 Author Posted March 22 Yes, it's the 32203. Sorry for not specifying the model number in the original post.
