October 20, 2025Oct 20 Hello forum,I've wanted to register with the forum for a long time, but I've never taken the plunge.I'm a cruise director from Spain. I used to own a little TG6 and a GoPro, but recently I decided to buy a Sony a6700 with a Nauticam housing. It has a 16-50 mm OSS II lens with a WWLC and a CMC-1.I enjoy photography and videography, and I hope to learn and share lots of knowledge on this forum.

October 20, 2025Oct 20 Hi ,Welcome aboard!Did you use your 16-50 mm for video?Have you had a chance to try the video continuous AF?
October 21, 2025Oct 21 Author Thank everyone for the welcome 🤗.@Davide DB yes I used the continuous autofocus for video, but I'm still really new with the system. Maybe I can upload some video to show the results.

Maybe I can upload some video to show the results. It would be interesting to see it in action. The V1 lens was considered mediocre, but according to the Sony website, it seems that the V2 has been optimized specifically for video AF. Essentially, it’s a 24-70, and with a light diopter, it would be ideal for Blackwater and other use cases where AF is essential. We have an old thread on the topic.
