I use an external monitor all the time (mostly macro, and always video) and wouldn't shoot without one any more. I love how easy it makes composing, and checking focus.

Nice work, and an interesting idea. I had poo-poo'ed the idea of filters on lights since I mostly shoot macro - but I now understand why that might be useful.

Yes, I have a similar complaint. I organize all my video files by trip, but Pinnacle wants to use a library system as well.

I use Pinnacle Studio - mostly because I have been using it for years, so I understand their user interface. I tried using DaVinci Resolve and the learning curve was too much, so I went back to Pinnacle Studio. I can see why people like Resolve, and may switch at some future time if Studio is discontinued, but for now at least, I will continue using it just because it is the path of least resistance and works for me.

Well, for starters, I do video, so perhaps my opinion doesn't matter. However, I don't see this as a tool that I would ever use.

WD40 is pretty marginal as a penetrating oil. My favorite is Kroil, although others like PB Blaster, etc.

I have a GH7, but since I shoot video I have no idea. If you tell me how to check, I can see if I can find out for you. That said, I only have a cheap flash that I bought for topside work, and I don't really know what it is capable of. If you want to send me a direct message, we can talk further.

I am not an IT person or anything, but I am trying to figure out why you are insisting on "cut and paste" instead of "drag and drop"? I always drag and drop any photos or videos and have no problems at all (unless they are too large).
