  1. Are you using a tray system? That might help with the hand held stability, so you don't need to introduce as much stabilisation in post. The AutoWB seems to be working great.
  2. I met someone on a liveaboard with an Insta360 Pro 2 in a Mantis sub housing. His company was making VR experiences for the Vision Pro.
  3. I don't think WBDV or red filters should be used with dive lights due to the mixed light problem. I'd love to see examples of WBDV in ambient lighting.
  4. Yea, put your subject in the centre of the focus box (which can be on the side of the screen if you set a custom focus point), single button press the tracking on toggle button, and it will start tracking. You can cancel with the same button or the center button in the dial.
  5. Yes that's what I'm doing in the youtube video. EDIT: of course you'd have to check if this option is available on the A6700, this is the A7C2.
  6. No no the third option (Tracking On by custom key) is the one which works!
  7. @bghazzal hope this explains everything. Toggle seems much more convenient. I think the first sentence where it mentions setting "wide as focus area" is a bit of a misnomer, it only seems to track the subject at the location of the focus box.
  8. Oh I found a workaround. In the menu --> Video Custom Key/Dial Set --> you can set a button to Tracking On. Quick test seems to work well with a center AF focus area. Hope that helps you @bghazzal EDIT: Tracking on toggle works even better, you don't have to hold onto the button and it stays on the subject.
  9. I can confirm my A7C2 also has this limitation. Disappointing.
  10. I have a Sony Rx100 V (not VA) and Nauticam NA-RX100V Pro Package.
  11. The number of "pro" settings available via GoPro labs makes the tinkerer in me aiming for best performance much prefer the GoPro. After playing around with the Insta360 1 inch RS Pro for land use, I've sworn off Insta360. They may be suitable for quick clips for social media, but if you want to do any post-processing, there's absolutely zero support.
  12. Hi I've also been reading your discussions with dnewman on github. Have you been able to test out the white balance improvements underwater? Mainly curious about the WBDV setting.
  13. Before After As expected it struggles with whale sharks 🤣
  14. Do you have a link to the exact product? The rubber on my Nauticam pump broke and I'm looking for a spare.
  15. Welcome fellow Hong Kong-er!
  16. $80 USD for a 3D printed plastic part is quite expensive, although I do agree the design is quite clever.
  17. The playback should be showing the embedded jpeg, so even when the highlights are blown out in the preview, they can sometimes be saved in the RAW file. If the jpg is coming out dark, maybe you have a picture profile turned on somewhere?
  18. I agree, the atmosphere was so much better than the city.

  21. Dove 2 days at Menjangan and 2 days at the Pemuteran area in late July/early August with Abyss Ocean World. Menjangan had great dives with large walls of healthy coral. However, larger animals/fish were quite uncommon. We only saw 2 turtles and 3 sharks at a distance over 6 dives, and one or two tuna. Pemuteran macro was alright. I heard from another diver that the nudibranch and frogfish concentration was much denser in the Tulamben area. Shaun the sheep nudis were plentiful. We managed to find one mimic octopus and one pygmy seahorse over 8 dives. The mandarin fish at Pemuteran are easy to find, but getting a good shot, especially with the mating was too difficult for me.
