Its the official gp13 firmware update. Then you go to the "lens attachment" option. They allow you to "auto detect" or "Macro`. Choose 'Macro" then go to the video settings. Under the 'protune` portion. There is a "focus peaking' .. you can choose which color /auto/ off.

ah... gopro 13 fireware v01.12 just launch.. now..if you put the lens attachment to 'Macro"... even without the macro lens... the focus peaking can be turn on! kool... not sure if it will affect any other things... if you are shooting in wide angle... with inon or aoi lens... give it a try...

erh... i never use a lanyard attached to my body. i only have one across the housing which i carry like a briefcase or like a lady on the elbow 😄 the most i have are 2 rings that are on the camera that i attach to my bcd in the odd change i need to deploy a smb.

See if its close to the inon ones... whicb has been around... for quite a while...haha... at least the wide angle one

when i saw the price at the show.. i was.. nah... i wont pay for a bigger screen... the focus peaking function is nice... i will be happy with focus peaking on the small screen of gopro... i am shooting macro anyway... my aim with the macro lens is to have it cover the whole gopro screen.

well ... at least its cheaper than the inon ones

not in our context... as in the housing... we can add lens of the macro kind.. with focus peaking... i can sort of tell how my focus is going on with my image... with a bigger screen like AOI housing is good. but i can without it... i think that would translate to wide angle too

Oh bugger... maybe will have to chat with the labs folks to see if we can turn it on without the lens

if anyone has the gopro hero13... i know that with the new macro lens.. you can turn on focus peaking... can you turn on focus peaking without the macro lens? i hope the answer is yes. i think it should be a yes... as AOI has a housing that uses the media mod that is able to have focus peaking displayed... i want some confirmation!!! till i get mine... hahah

hm... you know the padding that you get when you buy a camera bag? what cloth is that? that enable a velco to get stuck to it. i made some trekpak style dividers and i am thinking if i can wrap them with those cloth as well

can i deviate a little and ask what is the cloth used for the foam pads? i am trying to do a project

tried printing it... trying to print multiple knob in a single print... didnt went well.... when it get to the top part... prints just flying off the print bed.. heheh... my print bed too hot? or the base it too thin that it can't 'hold' on to the bed... i will try again... good stuff

unfortunately.. garuda is not one of the airlines that you can do early luggage check in. i think your transit time is really tough even for Singapore Changi airport. esp you are not in a SQ flight 🙂 some of the info on the sky train. good luck... looks like they made some changes to help with the overheating... the lens are intresting... for uw... probably same same... as long as the size is the same...

but.. there is a lack of video to show how to set up some of the lens... like this for example... i guess LDS should help... but we are all buying a lot of stuff online... and trying to figure things out ourselves.. example... putting a viewfinder... when i learnt it... i keep thinking.. that's it? it wont leak? hahaha
