  1. Thank you. With so many lens that Nauticam have is headache for the people like me, not used to Nauticam, knowing what piece of equipment is the one being used.
  2. Could you give more details about what wet lens and what kit zoom are you using? Ty.
  3. Hi bghazzal, makes complete sense! Thank you very much for the input. Initially had in mine do mainly wide angle in Komodo, but seeing some macro picture and taking in consideration that I am going from resort, that means three dives but without real possibility to change setup on the boat, the paranoia of two rigs started. 😅 Thanks again for the help, much appreciate it. Cheers.
  4. Hi there, I would like to ask for advice. Context: we are going to Komodo and Bali next October. My current setup is Nikon D500 with Isotta housing, but I have still the old rig (D300+S&S). My two main lenses are Nikon 105 or 85 mm for macro and Tokina 10-17 Fisheye (sometimes + kenko) for wide. The thing is that I’m starting to think that maybe I could dive with both rigs, for having macro and wide. Does anyone has dived with 2 complete rigs; am I totally nuts? Or better forget the idea and mount macro or wide and live with it? 😅
  5. Very good images! Can you share the equipment used?
  6. "Most bang" I suppose means good right? 😅
  7. Wow, I have discovered that I already have it at home, the Spanish edition from year 2000, translation of the third German edition. 😅😅
  8. I had looked it up just out of curiosity. I never would have bought it for the price listed in the link I posted. 😂 But thank you for the links you provide. Although, my German is zero 😅
  9. I was searching for this book and found a copy on amazon for 605€...😆 amazon link
  10. I had always used the black ones, Pro, and never had a fail.
  11. Really? I had always believed that higher mAh, and therefore higher capacity, meant longer battery duration. I need that powerpoint 😅
  12. I think that the whites one are only up to 2000 mAh, while the pro are up to 2500.
  13. Yes, I was thinking of using manual focus while on AF. Using Nikon 105 or 85mm you can use manual focus in AF. And in top of that I use the thumb focus button.
  14. Sometimes when I am at minimum focus distance maybe it would be useful to have a focus gear, not for using only focus gear and not AF obviously but for an extra help. Or for example to focus at the minimum distance manually and work from there, without having to AF at some element. I know that you can always move a little bit. I have never used a focus gear but I suppose that if the focus gear exists in the market it would be for some use. That’s why I was asking if people are using it.
  15. Was wondering if you guys are using focus ring when shooting macro, let’s say for example with 105mm or 85mm. Until now was not using but I was thinking in buying one.🤔 Thanks
  16. I started using Eneloop Pro and haven’t look back. I had also 4 of the Powerex that in my case didn’t last much.
  17. Hi, I have used with S&S DX Macro Port 87 and both Nikkor macro 85mm and 105mm on Nikon D300 and D500. I haven't noticed any vignetting at all. There is indeed a little gap from the flip itself.
  18. Hi, The Saga flip has two pieces, the flip itself and another that is the one that screws onto the port. In the single one you simply move the flip and screw at the desired angle. I don’t have the double flip, but for what I see in the image from Saga is like fixed position 10-2, but like SwiftFF5 have pointed out you can move that 10-2 at the position you like. But I’m not sure you can have it at 9-3. Hope that helps. I am adding some photos for clarification.
  19. If I were to delete the worst photos of a dive, I would only be left with a couple or none at all. 🤣 Unlike the others have said, I only delete the clearly bad images, and for me clearly bad is totally out of focus, accidental triggers, etc. I like to have all the images with the specie tags on them, maybe an image is very bad but is the only photo of a specie that I have. Talking in consideration that the storage is quite cheap, I have a 12TB for the images (land and underwater), every dive or trip is a folder numbered by date.
  20. I only have a single flip from Saga Dive, it does not increase vignetting in my rig, or at least I haven’t seen any difference at all. The single flip it is screwed on the port then you can choose the exact angle that you need to be mounted. The double flip from Saga, if I’m not wrong, you cannot choose the angle, is like fixed 10-2 setup. Sorry, I cannot help with the others brands.
  21. I’m selling 2 S&S strobes in perfect working condition. 1x YS-D2 unit 1x YS-D2J unit (Made in Japan) Both units are fully functional with no issues. I'm selling them because I want to upgrade to two D3. They’ve never been flooded and have never caused me any problems. As you can see in the photos, the battery caps are clean, with no rust or corrosion. They’ve been very well cared for. They can be triggered either by a 5-pin sync cable or by fiber optic cable—I’ve used both methods without any issues. I’m including 100º and 120º diffusers for both strobes and the boxes. Location: Near Barcelona, Spain. I’m selling both together for €590, shipping included within Spain. For other countries, shipping costs are at the buyer’s expense. For international buyers: I will cover the shipping cost equivalent to domestic shipping within Spain; the buyer will pay the difference.
  22. Thank for the info, On a trip when I was using them I experienced in my body the heat-related problems that the article describe, increase of body temperature and the inability to sweat. At that time I hadn't read anything related to this.
  23. Thank you Davide.👌 At first, I thought it might be an Alicia, but I don’t know why I ruled out this specie. 😅 Then I have seen it before indeed
  24. Maybe not anemone but some kind of molluscs.
