[4K] 2 Hours Of Octopus Doing Octopus Things
Absolutely brilliant and beautifully captured @ScubaBC . Loved diving in BC, the colours and the creatures are incredible. I hope it's okay to show at my studio to show visitors how beautiful these creatures are. Have a great weekend and look forward to seeing more of your work. Android video capture apps through divevolk housing and recommend settings ?
Hi again @Radar, Have you tried MotionCamApp at all? @Nando Diver gave a great review on a previous posting back in January together with a sample video taken with it which is on You Tube. Thanks Nando Diver 🙏 If we see your images then we can give you more pointers as to how to help. Hope this helps and good luck with the testing!

Android video capture apps through divevolk housing and recommend settings ?
Hi @Radar Great post and definitely very interesting. Where are you shooting? It would be helpful to see a screensnap or a small video clip to be able to see what's happening. I use an iPhone 13 Pro Max when I've used either my Sealife Sport Diver or DiveVolk Housing and have always been happy with my underwater images and video footage (you can see some footage I've made on my Ocean Visions Photography page on Tik Tok). I've been using DiveVolk weekly or more during the past month here in the UK and have not had a problem with my underwater footage. I've just been using my standard Apple settings. I've heard that UWACAM has been designed specifically for DiveVolk cases, have you tried it? Also have you reached out to Matthias Lebo at all? He's been using DiveVolk since they started and is an expert in Underwater Videography. He should be able to help you more. Good luck with the journey and look forward to seeing your footage and hearing how you get on. Maria

Insta360 Ace Pro 2 - The First 8K AI Powered Action Cam
If someone mentions the word Action Cam for underwater use, who else would automatically think of either Go Pro or the Osmo dpi range? This week I've been learning about Insta 360’s Ace Pro 2 and I have to say, I’ve been completely blown away by it’s specs. Not only does it boast an incredible Leica Summarit lens to set a completely new and unrivalled benchmark for action camera image quality (a whopping 50 MP), it has an F2.6 aperture to capture more light and reduce noise plus a 2.5” flip touchscreen plus many more incredible options to get super creative with your content. It has an elite 1/1.3” 8K sensor with 13.5 stops of dynamic range plus support for 4K 60 fps Active HDR and 8K 30 fps video. It also has a 5 mm AI chip for further processing and powerful performance. It promises to bring smoother, crisper 8k footage with incredible clarity , even in low light conditions, backed up by it’s renowned Flowstate Image Stabilisation and PureVideo software. It’s precise underwater colour technology ensures vibrant, true-to-life footage. It has outstanding white balance capabilities, boasts an incredible 157 degree field-of-view and is waterproof to 12 ms/39 ft. Leica has a long history of producing some of the best optics in the world, and I'm loving seeing the underwater images captured with this little gem of a camera. Has anyone got one? We’d love to see your images and hear your stories.

Anilao, macro, observations and a rant....
Hey @aquabluedreams You've got some nice shots there! It's so annoying isn't it to see guides picking up creatures and/or move them so that people can get better shots. I only wish that it could be discouraged .... Well done on these and thanks for sharing your rant! I hope your next destination will be kinder to the critters :)
