The attached GoFundMe link will give you the details but in short;  a local tribe, the Makah, want to take up hunting grey whales.  We hope to raise funds to send at least two decision makers from the Makah to Mexico, San Ignacio Lagoon to see another side of the whales and possible eco-tourism options.  Rather than just say "don't do that" maybe we can add a new element to a difficult subject.  We hope you will review the link.  As important as raising the funds is sharing the link is monumental also.   Thank you for your valuable time.

We have taken down the GoFundMe site due to a simple lack of interest.  The typical comment was that people supported the idea but were hesitant to get involved with issues touching on BIPOC communities.  In many ways it is good to see people being more sensitive to these groups issues.
