Hi all,

A friend of mine is trying to convince me to join their group for a diving trip to Galapagos in March. They are not photographers.

Besides the travel and costs, it seems to me that the photography there is luck dependent and can be hit or miss (on top of difficult visibility at times).

Has anyone been there? I'm not convinced that it could be a productive trip compared to other locations (for similar distance/cost).

If anyone has pictures to share, i'd love to take a look at them!

It's totally worth it no matter circumstances and conditions. It's pretty much guaranteed you will get a chance to photograph Galapagos and hammerheads, eagle rays, jacks bowls, sea lions, penguins and iguanas and if you ask nicely 😅you might score whale shark and mola. Just go... 😁
