Mexico Underwater Camera "Tax" spread to Cancun
If Indonesia start this shit like Mexico some location will have less en less travellers. Lembeh is a good example of location where the count of resort will decrease very fast. I'll take no risk an go north to Philippines if I hear some other case.

Advice on a Carry-On Camera Backpack
You didn't know anything of Switzerland otherwise you wouldn't say that. It's hard to live and work in CH. Salary is high BUT all are expensive.

Advice on a Carry-On Camera Backpack

Advice on a Carry-On Camera Backpack
I had a problem 3 weeks ago when I made the checkin in Zurich with Singapore Air. It was the first time he asked that I put by backpack to see the weight.... 15 KG... ( less than normal, the I didn't have the dome then for Lembeh ;) ) Normaly it is 18 kgs...... Big discussion... but finally it was ok. It is harder and harder to travel.... We had enough weight available with 2 x 30 kgs + 2 x10 extra as frequent flyers... and with 3 laggage we had "only" 55 kgs.... --> 25 kgs available ... but I was not acceptable to put my R5 housing in the laggage.

Using Lightroom with a tablet
Yes CFExpress 1GB but I use allways the same 512 GB SDcard... (have some backup just in case with me. I'm not making backup from the pictures every days on the SSD.. "only" after 3 or 4 days diving and then with the Lightroom xmp. I used when I'm back at home the SSD to transfer the data to my RAID over my home PC. Before I bought the new Surface pro I had some free space problems... (only 512 GB in the old Surface) not because the picture, but the vdeo my wife took. With one TB SSD in the new Surface... and for a small trip it will be enough... but for a trip of 3 weeks... I'll prabably run out of disk space.

Using Lightroom with a tablet
I m also travelling with 2 Samsumg T7 from 1 TB to backup (2 times) the pictures transfered. That my R5 have 2 card I only empty one the other hold all the pictures (1 TB) Backup baclup backup..... it's important.

Anyone on here using Isotta housings?
I have an old Isotta housing for my canon G5x... and since 4 year an Isotta with my Canon R5. I'm happy with it... it is a brand from Europe and in the actual situation It is important for me to buy "local".

Rumour: Canon RF 7–14mm f/2.8–3.5 Fisheye zoom may be announced this week (+ RF 14mm f/1.4L VCM)
I noticed that the size of the 7-14 is more or less the same as the 10-20... Good point

Rumour: Canon RF 7–14mm f/2.8–3.5 Fisheye zoom may be announced this week (+ RF 14mm f/1.4L VCM)
As Canon R5 user i'm really happy that Canon bring this lens at the market. I'm waiting the first test on land... and after underwater. As already say I'm using the rectilinear 10-20 mm... I never used fisheyes.. You all are so happy with this fisheyes that I need to test it... I want to show the difference it makes. Not sure i'll be happy for some dive where I take such pictures, where a fisheyes will deform the line
