My buddy has an Aquatica AGH5 and it's built like a tank. I see Backscatter has the Aquatica AGH6 on sale while Aquatica doesn't list it on their site. 1K€$ less... Isotta never made an housing for it. Edit: Aquatica AGH6bis discontinued but I guess they will change the Sticker...

And it was (actually is) an expensive one. The reason is a mystery to me.

I think a used GH6 housing is like a unicorn.

Yes, as I told you it is cut and shaped like balsa. I got these cubes by drawing a grid with pencil on the pvc block and then cut them with a carpenter's band saw. Then with a hole punch I drilled a 2.5 cm hole to put the arms in. Basically stix but resistant to 150 meters. You can make a cardboard template of the base you need and then transfer it to the block and then cut and shape.

Make me an offer, they are taking dust in my drawer...

The EOS C400 camera records in 6K full frame up to 60p in 12-bit Cinema RAW Light. By changing the sensor mode, the camera can record 4K RAW up to 120fps and 2K RAW up to 180fps. This is all recorded in Canon’s latest iteration of Cinema RAW Light, which provides three different recording modes to choose from depending on your file size preference and workflow. Other recording options include the Canon-developed, industry standard XF-AVC codec which can be recorded in 10-bit 4:2:2 with oversampling from the 6K sensor, helping to create rich detail and smooth imagery, at frame rates up to 120P, without the need for cropping the image from the sensor. Canon is also introducing two new recording codecs into the EOS C400 camera, XF-AVC S and XF-HEVC S. These formats feature an easy-to-manage naming system and folder structure, while recording in the familiar MP4 format and preserving metadata. All of these options are recorded to the camera’s CFexpress slot with sub-recording and proxy options available to the SD Card slot, which allows for simultaneous recording even when shooting RAW.

MELVILLE, N.Y., June 5, 2024 —Canon U.S.A. Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, is pleased to announce the new Canon EOS C400 cinema camera, with a native RF-mount and full-frame, back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, designed with the film and live production markets in mind. For the first time in the cinema EOS system, the Canon EOS C400 camera features a newly developed 6K full-frame, back-illuminated CMOS sensor, with triple-base ISO, allowing the camera to deliver stunning imagery in a wide range of lighting conditions. The base ISOs of 800, 3200, and 12,800 maximize the full dynamic range of the camera. An additional benefit of the EOS C400 camera’s sensor is the support for the next generation of Canon’s Dual Pixel CMOS Autofocus, Dual Pixel AF II. The back-illuminated stacked positioning offers better light-capturing efficiency, which widens the area of the sensor that can be used for autofocusing. The sensor also empowers faster readout speed, as well as better 4K image quality from 6K oversampling. The EOS C400 camera records in 6K full frame up to 60p in 12-bit Cinema RAW Light. The camera has unique features for video and incorporates the same photographic functions as the G9II. A rare piece of good news for us divers is that the camera body is identical to the previous GH6. The (few) lucky owners of a housing for the GH6 can upgrade the camera without changing the housing. Thanks to an agreement between Panasonic and ARRI, it is possible to install a paid FW update that allows the camera to save footage in a certified ARRI CLog3 format. 25.2MP BSI CMOS Micro Four Thirds Sensor 4K60 4:2:2 10-Bit Unlimited Recording 5.7K60, 4K120 HFR, FHD 240p VFR ProRes RAW, 32-Bit Float, 13+ Stop WDR Dual I.S. 7.5-Stop 5-Axis Stabilizer 3.68m-Dot OLED Electronic Viewfinder 3.0" 1.84m-Dot Free Angle Touchscreen CFexpress Type B & SD UHS-II Card Slots

On powerful lamps you have practically no choice because you need multi-cell packs equipped with BMS. But I think that is a false problem. All custom packs are obtained from multiple 18650s or 21700s anyway. I have two Keldans that have either famous battery packs with displays that show the charge. When they came to the end of their life, I had no problem getting them rebuilt by a company that makes battery packs for electric bicycles. By now these companies are very common.

All rumor sites are baffled that Panasonic will unveil its new micro four-thirds flagship mirrorless video oriented camera on June 5. The GH6 is declared out of production in Japan only two years after its release. We will only have to wait two days for official photos and features. for now the rumors report: Most features of the Lumix G9II (PDAF) internal RAW New 32bit float recording methods via a new XLR unit Large fan With the introduction of Phase Detection Autofocus and internal Raw format (to be seen which one, given the patent war on the subject) Panasonic seeks to repeat the huge success of the GH5 P.S. I'm afraid I'll have to break my piggy bank this time...

My bad, sorry, Delrin has nothing to do with floats. Mine was just an example of the difference between the real material and the trade name given by the manufacturers and patent holders. Another example, Plexygals is the trade name for Poly(methyl methacrylate) or PMMA. Returning to our floats, I often used Termanto, another trade name for a closed-cell PVC foam. From memory, I have used the one with a density of 75Kg/m3 that easily withstands 14 Bar. In boatyards they use it for the structure of the decks, which are then covered in fiberglass or Tek, and the scraps are usually thrown away.
