Thanks Ian. Next year we should have several new things coming up. Rich is a volcano of ideas and we need to hold him by the fins 😆 But the heart of the community is you users. We just try to create a platform where members feel comfortable in a friendly and inclusive environment that facilitates the exchange of opinions. Happy new year
  2. For those who need it, I can provide the address of a photography gear store that is very aware of GAS and WAF.
  3. Yes, Absolutely! Remember our role in life... 😜
  4. 5700£ or 6500 euro and it weights 2,6 kg so we have: White truffle of Alba - 3000 €/kg WACP - 2500 €/kg Kobe beef - 1000 €/kg
  5. Hi Peter, welcome aboard!
  6. Here in Europe you can't find coolers as sturdy and affordable as American ones. The only ones I found got holes in them after a few months and the zipper became a stalactite. I do exclusively local diving and for the RHIB I use a box with hard plastic handles. While unloading the RHIB I put the water hose in it and let it soak.
  7. We forgot to add it on the about page

Thank you for your support. Now put on your T-shirts and conquer the diving centers! 😉
  9. I have two beautiful RGBlue lights bought used many years ago that I use for macro. They have exceptional build quality and I am very fond of them. Two years ago I broke a LED and ended up cursing the day I bought them. Getting assistance from Japan was a nightmare and cost me money and months of exhausting meaningless communication. This year I lost a charger and luckily I found a spare in stock in Europe. Thanks Ben 😉 Just think that the old Italian importer gave me some batteries he had left in stock for free. He broke off relations with them some time ago also because of their rigidity in business relations.

Welcome! Near one of my favourite dive destination in the Med: Port Cros!
  11. Did you spread the word on social media?
  12. Welcome Balazs. TTL for dummies 😆
  13. As Chris suggested, write everything on SUPE SN channels

Welcome aboard François! I already feel cold just mentioning the word 'lake'! 🥶
  15. What can I say... kudos to the commitment of the company. It seems unbelievable to me and frankly the retailer doesn't look good either. I don't know him and can't assess his business. And maybe he didn't have another identical lamp available. From what you write, the retailer wanted to make sure that the fault was not due to misuse, and then he started the replacement process with the company. But if the company gave him the OK for the replacement, what is the point of making the customer waiting months to receive the replacement part? Can't he just give you a lamp he has at the shop right away? The company certainly wants to limit shipping costs by avoiding them for broken goods that will travel with the orders. But you don't necessarily wait for these times. The problem seems to me to be more with the retailer. A serious company would make an exception to this rule in the event that a shopkeeper lacks the replacement goods. Personally, I have seen several times retailers please the customer by exchanging the defective item immediately and then handle the replacement with the company in the time required. It is a matter of trust between all parties. In the price of our expensive toys, the value of after-sales service must also be considered.
  16. It's normal for video work/editing. Always moving a lot of data.
  17. The best option is using Youtube. If you have a Google account you have automatically a Youtube account. Just upload and publish a video there. You can set the video "unlisted". Only who has the link can see the video. Then you can post the link here and it will be automagically embedded in you post
  18. It's what we made until now. We have 4 GP11 and we leave them until the battery dies. At 4K@50p (everything disabled) they last about 1 hour. Now we are evaluating to buy a digipower re-fuel casel to get 3 hours at least. These are not normal trouts they are badass trouts 🙂 Nobody was able to film their spawning so far. They are super suspicious: they disappear even if you get 5 meter close to the riverbank. We were only able to film them with gopros left in the water. We also tried with two Panasonic GH5 camouflaged with fake leaves without much results because they seem to be disturbed by such a large object left in the water. Now we have a lot of footage but no spawning!
  19. Same here. I found the 14-12+WWL is better from 14 to about 24. After that it loose definition. I don't know if it's the lens or the WWL. The 12-35 in a 6" dome zoomed in is tack sharp. Unfortunately is too narrow for some shots. Life is made of choices 😆
  20. Hi Martin, Welcome onboard!
  21. Do you want to write such article for Waterpixels?
  22. Hi John, I have cleaned the sensor of my GH5 several times, but always with the pre-soaked swab, and everything came off the first time. I would use very little liquid and repeat the operation several times. I wouldn't risk putting too much in and having liquid running around inside the camera. For portholes I have always used Novus and always with excellent results. Of course if you have deep scratches it's too delicate but it's important to understand that sometimes even if you can still see it with the naked eye, in water you can't see it because the edges are smoothed and the water does the rest. Work a lot with number 3 and eventually number 2. Number 1 is simply a glass cleaner.
