  1. I would agree with @Oren Noah that checking with your wife's OB should guide your travels. Pregnancy is also a risk for deep vein thrombosis (DVT). If everything checks out as low risk, then much of the advice given above is spot on, especially deep into the 2nd trimester when things should be in cruise control.

    Aloha and welcome!
  3. Many thanks Tim. Maybe it will be a good comeuppance when the US are a middling developing country.
  4. I figure US buyers will have to sit tight and take shelter. I will be using chewing gum and gaffers tape on my gear in the mean time.
  5. Both sites look great. @bvanant love your wife’s video!

  10. @Yorkie88 It appears this works with the Sony A6700 in a Nauticam housing. One of our members @boduoguo has a picture of his set up in a thread about the Sony A6700.
  11. Yes, Sony would be the exception. That little strobe does look like something that will work if it fits.

    Aloha and welcome Edy!
  13. @RVBldr Great stuff man!
  14. If you're in a hurry to turn off strobes, you might just pull the fiber optic cable. Usually I have enough time to turn off both if you're thinking about shooting existing light.
  15. Excellent news!

    Aloha and bienvenidos Martín!
  18. As others have noted, a luggage scale and a large bucket is de rigueur. If you're interested in Stix floats on ULCS type arms, the "jumbo" floats are 181g, and the "large" floats are 96g each. They look cheap in photos, but they're durable and infinitely adjustable. And you might need buoyancy for the macro port if you add a flip diopter holder.
  19. It is a very cool looking crab!
  20. @Chris Ross That looks great. A cool bit of kit.
  21. Aloha and welcome Precha! Some great diving in Thailand! What kind of photography equipment do you repair? Old film cameras? Best, Craig
  22. PMing you.
  23. I missed that bit about being a universal housing ... very interesting ... but still more than my trust fund will allow.
  24. Aloha and welcome. This doesn't seem to change the game much. It's expensive, fits the usual suspects, and is big and bulky.
  25. I think both would be nice. You get to see how a creature moves, and it may allow for seeing it from other angles.
