  1. Hope you get that sorted. I'm sure most of us have done something like that.
  2. @Seacamera Welcome aboard!
  3. @dmanfish It's about time you joined this forum, as your name is pretty well known elsewhere. Cheers mate. Welcome aboard.
  4. @Nick Very cool to have you aboard!
  5. @Aquatica Thanks for joining! It's great to have industry types here!
  6. @dhaas That's a pretty impressive little rig! Nice photos sir.
  7. @tkdcol Hi. The housing is available, but the body is not. Message me if you're interested. Great price.
  8. Sounds really good. I'm heading in that direction, too, with a remote.
  9. @Klaus Nice work! I had both the Olympus and Lumix fisheyes and actually preferred the Lumix because of its smaller size. Both worked well in Nauticam housings and 4.33” port. Olympus needed an extension if I recall correctly.
  10. What lights did you get?
  11. @tkdcol Welcome to Waterpixels!
  12. @Basil I have the WWL-1, too. It is a good chunk of glass, but if you're looking for good wide angle coverage, it's a solid choice. It takes a bit of getting accustomed to its size. The AOI UWL-09 is close to the same size:
  13. @Basil Welcome to Waterpixels! Nice photo of the turtle.
  14. That sounds great. One day I may move back to OM System. Great ergonomics. Good color science. Nice system.
  15. @Jim M. I had the EM-5 and EM-1 mark 2, and while I love the size of the cameras and lenses, shooting tiny fish moving was a challenge. It really came down to the fish momentarily stopping, then firing the shutter. If you've never used Sony cameras, their continuous tracking autofocus is amazing.
  16. @Jim M. Welcome to Waterpixels! Do you know of iNaturalist? I post pretty much all of my photos there.
  17. Up for sale are a pair of Kraken 5000S+ WSRU video lights. They work great, with a 60 minute burn time, and show signs of use. One comes with the Kraken case, and both come with two batteries and chargers. The photos show one light with a ball (non-YS) mount, but I removed it. That particular ball mount is included but should be replaced. In summary, there is one working YS mount; one YS mount with the ball mount missing, and the ball (non-YS) mount which needs replacing. $425 for both and we split the cost of PayPal fees (3.49% or $7.42) and USPS shipping to US buyers. International buyers also responsible for VAT and international shipping. 30 day money back guarantee.
  18. @jsintek Welcome to Waterpixels. The other site seems to be dying a slow death, and only the classifieds section seems to be active.
  19. @Francisco Kyle Welcome to Waterpixels!
  20. This pretty cool strobe and video light has been used once. Works perfectly, and comes with the recommended batteries and charger. It produces powerful, even light as a strobe and 5000 lumens of smooth video light. If you look closely there are small marks showing use. I like it, but decided to get dedicated video lights and I'll stick with my old Inons for stills. I'd be interested in partial trades for Kraken video lights, or a Backscatter MF-2. $750 and we split the cost of PayPal fees (3.49% or $13.09) and USPS shipping to US buyers. International buyers also responsible for VAT and international shipping. 30 day money back guarantee.
  21. @Phil Rudin Cool looking fish. What's that green thing in the background?
  22. I usually find the problem is related to my own inattention. I've damaged quite a few things, but I try to slow down when putting gear together, and I pull my o-rings and put them in a plastic bag when I'm not using the equipment for an extended time. Others leave their o-rings in place, but I suspect they get compressed over time.
  23. Welcome to Waterpixels! I'm sure the R1 will be fantastic.
