Hi All, I'm Dan.

I've been underwater for over 10 years, most of it also building up my photography skills. Living in Sydney, Australia. Not the one in Canada or the abbreviated Austria!

Started with a6000, a6400, a short sojurn into TG6, A7iii and now a7rv. Until now i've kept it cheap and simple - Seafrogs housings, Chinese and home made, 3d printed parts, second hand gear. But now i've had the surgery to remove body parts and have them on ice, waiting for the right opportunity to invest in a Nauticam system.

Macro has been my passion, but i've also recently been enightened to the visual allure of wide angle.

PS Foetusmachine has no meaning. It's just a conjunction of two words, meant to entertain, confuse and question your choices in life.

Welcome aboard Dan!

That's a good idea, the surgical operation. I'll book one for myself too! 😁

Nice photos, great job! I like your use of shadows; it adds drama. Do you use a snoot?

good to have another Sydney diver join up!

I think that soon, in Sydney, you'll be able to organize a WPX boat! Lucky you.

I tried for the first time a coupel of weeks ago. It went well, but need to sort out the rig buoyancy/balance.
