I bought a DJI Osmo 360 as soon as came out with the impression of a dive housing to be available straight after. However now after months and I been checking deeply I started to believe that DJI will never come out with an housing for this camera due it's form factor. My main use is for diving. So what should I do buy and action 5 pro and keep the Osmo 360 as an expensive paper holder or keep waiting with the faith that some kind of housing for a 360 will be available on the market?

I've seen a Hasselblad as a paper holder - albeit with an analogue clock mounted in the lens mount - so don't feel too bad 😉

Looks like only you can make that decision. But it always sucks that when you move in another direction what you wanted comes out. I’ve found that if you have older gear you can make it work even without the latest and greatest tech.

I would sell the DJI and buy an Insta360 X5 if you really needed a 360 degree camera underwater

I will add that if you do get the X5, the Pro case is a must have. It has more float but the images from it are not bad, unlike the normal case.
