François, coming  from France

Happy to see this dynamic team continuing this very useful community.

Diving since 30 years, taking underwater pictures since around 16 years.

Living in Alsace, France, near the German and Switzerland borders, my usual diving place is "La Gravière du Fort", a nice lake dedicated to divers.

I'm also active in the French Underwater Federation as an underwater photography trainer.

I hope the best for Waterpixels future.

I would rather dive in warm water 🙂 , but La Gravière du Fort is only one hour driving from home, whereas nearest sea is more than 7 hours...
In summer, water is not cold. Up to 25°C at surface, and still more than 20°C at 10m (but around 8°C at 40m...)
Winter with right equipment is still manageable. Dry suit and heating vest are welcome 🙂.
