  1. Thanks for the explanation.. and i understand your feelings šŸ‘ Maybe it’s because they know me a lot I feel always the happiness… but maybe they hate me and it’s fake šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜… The restaurant thing it’s ok.. they had new managers at that time and wasn’t perfect at all… they improved al lot in 19.. in 22 was incredible and last year was astonishing(also the price😢).. but let me say that in 2018 in comparison with the first years was a ton better.. I remember in 14-15 the food was really difficult… always white rice 😬😬 I know you have Marco as a dive guide.. he was one of the two new managers.. I don’t know why they give you him as a dive guide… šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø I’ve always had the same dive guide since 2014.. Ivan from gangga.. but I know also the others dive guides.. all locals… I really understand your disappointment.. the dive guide means a lot and can ruin everything… I remember one lob in Komodo with an idiot.. local but idiot! 😤 Thank you again!!
  2. If isn’t a problem can I ask you about your negative experience? I’m just curious , What happened? 😬😢
  3. Ahah for us became ā€œout of budgetā€ā€¦ šŸ˜±šŸ˜…šŸ˜…
  4. I was there in August 2018 too… maybe we meet… šŸ˜… that year we go to bangka-togean-Tompotika… when we were in bangka i didn’t remember to much wind… nothing like 2015… 😱 Coraleye now it’s a complete different place in every aspect.. šŸ˜…šŸ˜…
  5. I agree… it’s very strange šŸ˜¬šŸ˜…šŸ˜…
  6. Thanks a lot !!!! This help me!!! For the corners softness on those shots for me seems pretty good!! The 4.33 acrylic don’t have any better! šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘
  7. I took it off one time for polishing it… the 4.33 dome... It was a nightmare put it back with the old black oring.. I do the same with the 3.5 dome(n85) and finally was impossible with the original and I had to use an old grey port oring because was softer… šŸ˜…šŸ˜…
  8. Ahaha I want to add some infos about dive sites but Luko said everything!! šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ‘
  9. Thanks… this was just in front of bastianos resort… the resort wasn’t already there, they were in the building process… the name of the dive site is busa bora… it take the name from the very small village between bastianos and coral eye resorts.. šŸ˜‰ Those shots are from sahaung dive site.. there you can do some incredible reefscapes and as Luko said incredible CFWA.. I’m still in love with bangka island after 8 times… in 2015 i stayed there one month straight šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ˜… and i took there my best shot of all times in the mangroves(CFWA).. šŸ˜
  10. I’ve done more than 300dives in bangka.. 80% was macro, but the other 20% was with my fisheye and was well deserved!! Depends what you mean for fisheye opportunities… if you are thinking about big animals it’s a no.. but the reef around that island it’s so beautiful and for me fisheye sometimes is mandatory in dive sites like sahaung or others on the east side that have gorgeous topography! But only three days it’s very little time… maybe the wwlC it’s enough.. šŸ˜…šŸ˜…
  11. Thank you!! Have you tried them also in wide angle photography? I saw the backscatter big test and they rated them so low in GN that it’s difficult to believe.. 😬😬
  12. Hi guys… someone has used this strobes? I have used inons for almost twenty years, for macro(z330 with beam reducer) and fill wide angle.. love their compactness/weight/power ratio for travel.. always used them in full manual mode, so i don’t need the latest gimmick.. I’m searching something comparable in size and power for both macro and wide angle.. those fotocore gtm are even comparable? Other strobes similar? For what i see around seems that I’ve to wait the z360(but when?) or going heavier and a lot more expensive!!! Thanks!! Fabio
  13. I confirm it’s in the zen port chart… I’m still undecided between the Nauticam 140 and the zen dp100… maybe can be possible and easier to find the 140mm also used… the zen only new from my dealer… fortunately and unfortunately I’ve a lot of months before coming back underwater … šŸ˜…
  14. Did you use the howshot dome port with the 8mm Olympus? šŸ˜…
  15. Hi phil.. thanks for the advice… in the zen underwater n85 port chart they say that the oly 8mm behind the dp100 n85 is good with the Nauticam 30mm extension ring… šŸ˜…šŸ˜… ah.. I read your review!! šŸ˜‰
  16. Thanks.. I own the WWL-C with the Panasonic 12-32…. I use it for the first time last August in raja ampat and enjoyed the ability to zoom a lot… excellent with the sharks and other shy fishes… the quality is good but I’ve to admit that the fixed 8mm with also the plastic 4.33 dome port have an image quality a ton better.. I think it’s the Panasonic 12-32 that is a really cheap lens, maybe with another zoom lens would be better… šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø I also found the 130 degrees a little limiting when I wanted to put the sun in the frame.. šŸ˜…
  17. I’m not Chris and never used an external monitor but there is another solution between 45 degree viewfinder/bare lcd/ext monitor… an adapted lcd magnifier like the Nauticam one… I use one since 2013 (Sony rx100II-Em5I-Em1Ii) and it’s really effective.. I buyed also the Nauticam 45 viewfinder but then I sold it.. šŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø with the lcd magnifier you don’t need to be perfectly centered with the eye and the glass of the mask like the 45degree viewfinder, and what you see it’s a lot bigger and clearer than the bare lcd… the only drawback it’s only 10 o 15 degrees angle and in the sand your neck get twisted.. but it’s cheap! But for what you explained before the external monitor if you don’t care about drag, weight and more batteries can do your job better than everything… šŸ˜…
  18. Hi guys!!! Thanks a lot for the advices and the beautiful photos… šŸ‘ It’s very interesting the idea of having a fisheye zoom lens adapted to our system… maybe I can finally sell the Wwl-c that is a little narrow with 130* for my taste...šŸ˜… the canon way it’s really expensive and bulky, the tokina seems more reasonable in size/cost, but the discontinued adapter it’s a pain in the ass… it’s pretty rare and impossible to find in EU… I don’t know if I want to go in that route with the metabones the n85-n120 ecc ecc… in the past I own the tokina 10-17 with a canon 650d and I didn’t remember a lot of quality… maybe with a smaller sensor it’s better! On the other side in the last 12 years I own both the m4/3 fisheyes… but always with plastic dome ports.. the quality of the Olympus lens it’s top notch! After looking at your shots I can say that the small zen dp100 is very good also for casual wide angle… šŸ‘šŸ‘ Thanks!!
  19. Hi guys.. after years of service I’ve sold all of my Nauticam plastic dome ports 3.5 and 4.33 and I’m looking to upgrade to a glass dome in the next future.. still had my old oly EM1MK2… Someone with M4/3 camera have used the zen dp100 n85 with the Olympus fisheye? I know it’s better than the Nauticam 140mm for CFWA… but it’s still good also for classic wide angle photography? I know it needed 30mm extension ring, but I’ve also the 20mm extension in my rig.. it’s possible to mount the 8mm also with 20mm extension for more CFWA use? I’m also evaluating the idea of adapting a tokina 10-17… if someone has done it, where you have find the correct zoom ring for that?? Sorry for the many questions…. Thanks!!
  20. I’m an old Olympus user.. now I’ve my old em1mk2.. i think it’s similar… i didn’t remember the menu voices but i always used a setting that boost the LCD screen… without any simulation… šŸ˜…šŸ˜‰
  21. I’ve both, Nauticam lcd magnifier and Nauticam 45degree viewfinder… what I see trough the lcd magnifier is 2 times better than what I see trough the 45 degree viewfinder.. image is a lot bigger…. The only drawback of the lcd magnifier is that it’s almost straight and my neck didn’t like it anymore… but with that it’s a lot easier shooting macro also with cmc1… šŸ˜…šŸ˜…šŸ˜…
  22. The lens is SOLD!
  23. Thanks guys.. from your experience and advices I think I'll have to use them until they die..😢😢😢 it’s a pity because as a guy that use them only one time a year during summer holidays i like them a lot… 😭 maybe this is the reason they discontinued the product so early without a real substitute?? Thanks again!
  24. Hi guys, I’ve 3 inon Z330 and I’ve a problem with two of them… The main switch is inconsistent , the click between mode when rotating the switch it’s almost gone… and sometimes one of them didn’t go on or off…. Also when it’s turned off, if you touch the switch without rotating it the red light come on and off… Underwater almost everything seems ok.. when on they perform as usual… but I’m worried about reliability.. for what I read around, the switch are the mains problems of this strobes… I know they are discontinued but someone had them repaired? There are spare parts available? Thanks! Fabio
