FS- Canon 5DMIV body, Nauticam housing, INON Z330, Marelux SOFT, trigger and floats- XCELLENT!
For sale is my wife's Canon 5DMIV and Nauticam housing. The housing is in excellent condition and comes with the vacuum port installed, hand vacuum, electronic sync bulkheads, electronic sync cables, extra ball mounts and lanyard. The Canon 5DmIV camera body is also in excellent condition. It comes with extra batteries, battery charger, memory card and Nauticam flash trigger to use with fiber optics. These INON Z330 v1 strobes have low use. I have two sets and these were a backup set. Never flooded. This also includes a new, never used Marelux SOFT with INON Z330 adapter and soft diffuser. This is a great option if your shooting macro to get those precise shots. Also included are Nauticam float arms and generic clamps. I have Nauticam clamps for it but I’m going to hold onto unless you want to make an offer to include them. Originally I built this system for my wife to move up to from her TG but, she doesn’t like using a big camera and just wants to stick with point and shoot. You can shoot with either the electronic sync cables or the fiber optic flash trigger. This gives you a backup if one was to fail. This is still one of the best cameras that was produced by Canon and it’s the last great DSLR. You can use all of Canon’s great lenses without an adaptor. I also have a mirrorless Sony and it was a very hard choice which one I wanted to sell. Using the mirrorless has some advantages but the lack of lenses does have some restrictions. I’m also might be selling a Canon M50II and Nauticam housing with batteries and charger. Not sure if Im going to list it yet but I will if there's some interest. $5000 USD OBO with free shipping to CONUS and split for international. Payment up front through Zelle.

Macro / SMC-1
great shot. I'd try masking the eye tubes and lowering the exposure a little and a touch of contrast too. Just seems bright which pulls your eyes from its eyes.

Inon Z330 - change the lens to fly eye possible?
So I just got back from a trip to Little Cayman and used the "Pro diffusers " with my Inon Z330 on both the type 1 and type 2 strobes. I didn't see any difference between using them with either the type 1 or 2. I did really like the results I got from them though. I shot them at reefs, fish and stingrays over white sand and they really did make a nice even flash. However, I did noticed that they are about 2 stops of light loss. Now in most conditions thats not really a problem but in the clear water with strong ambient light I really had the run the strobes up to get good results against the ambient light. Now I could have lowered the ISO and aperture but I like to have more of a natural water color. But overall I'll be using these a lot in the future.

Bangka/Lembeh 2024
Well they're fantastic! I think I'm going to have to give that a try.

Great images. What shutter speed were you using for the motion blur?

FS: Marelux SOFT Pro snoot, Z330 mount and extras
So I'm selling this because my wife doesn't want to use the Inon strobes so this has never been used. I tried it once in the pool and it has sat since. So what comes with it is the snoot, the Inon Z330 mount, the Marelux soft diffuser, 2 Sea Life battery and charger. Total from Bluewater was $703.90 Looking for $400/OBO including shipping for CONUS and split shipping for international.

Photographyexperts.com/Alex Mustard's UW masterclass reboot
@Alex_Mustard I just wanted to say thank you for the series. The videos have been great and look forward to watching them again. I especially enjoyed the last two series on lighting. The demonstrations were a great visual aid and I look forward to trying some of them in a couple of weeks in Little Cayman.

Sony 50mm macro or Canon 60mm macro on Sony FF?
I think until they come up with a better lens in the mid range I'm just going to have to keep my Canon 5D4 and use the Sony for everything else.

Inon Z330 - change the lens to fly eye possible?
I have a set of these for my Z330's but have yet to use them. I'm going to try them next month on a Cayman trip.

Sony A1 or A7R5
Thank you both for that. I was also considering waiting for the A1m2 but nothing on the horizon yet. Like Chip I struggle with the autofocus of my A7R3. I don't shoot video or APS-C so those aren't a concern. Shutter speed is one of the features but more than anything it's the autofocus because I want to do more macro. My cameras now do well shooting WA especially with the WACP it makes it even easier. Chip, when you used both did you notice any difference between the two for the autofocus?

Sony A1 or A7R5
So I'll be upgrading this year and wanted some feedback from users. I have a Sony A7R3 and I want the better focusing of the newer models. I'm not to concerned between the two for megapixels because they are both up there. I like the A1 shutter speed but is there a big difference between the two as far as autofocus speed? Also any other thoughts. Oh and can the record button be reassigned both since I don't shoot video?

Fisheye for Sony FF
I use the Canon 8-15mm fisheye on my Sony with a Nauticam 230 dome and a Metabones adapter. I have both the version IV and V. Can't say I see much of a difference in speed but maybe a little faster with the V.
