Hi Bill, I have the +5 and the +10 that I was getting ready to offer for sale. Jon
  2. These were taken in Cozumel. Not my best photos, I know. The closest ID I can find is in Mickey Charteris' book Caribbean Reef Life, and that is the Warty Aeolid. The photo in the book is similar to my pictures but when I look on the internet, I get something totally different. I've reached out to Mickey for his thoughts but wondered if anyone here had any ideas? Taken with Olympus EM-1 Mk III, Olympus 30mm lens and Backscatter HF-1 strobe.
  3. I thought it was just my old eyes seeing two different sized o-rings when I looked at the picture on Backscatter’s website. In the picture the o-ring on the bottom appears to be thicker than the one on top.
  4. If, for some reason, the sale does not go through as planned, I’m interested.
  5. This might work out, as I'm interested in the WWL-1B and the bayonet mount converter.
  6. I know you said you wanted to mount it to your dome, but have you looked at a GoPro ball mount to see if that would work for you? I know Ultralight and Ikelite both make one.
  7. Could it be a Hairy Clinging Crab?
  8. I was able to trigger my MF-2 with the MF-1 in my living room, but I did not try it underwater. I don’t know about changing the power in remote mode though.
  9. I was looking at the Zen WA-100 for the Panasonic 7-14mm to use on an upcoming trip to Cuba and then Fiji. I have the AOI 8" dome already, which works with this lens but it is large to travel with. According to the AOI Pen chart, that dome is the only AOI dome that works. In another thread on Scubaboard the OP posted he had used the 24mm Extension Ring and the DLP-06 4" dome, which is the same combination used for the Olympus 8mm Fisheye, and gotten good results. Has anyone else tried this combination with the Panasonic 7-14mm and what were your results?
  10. I spoke to the Nauticam rep at DEMA and he did not have a release date yet, only saying it might be before the end of the year.
  11. Sorry that happened to you. I normally carry most my camera gear in a backpack, so that will not be changing. Did you have any problems with them trying to tax your camera gear? I got hit twice in Cabo, and have heard it is now occurring in Cancun. I got another e-mail saying Cozumel has been taxing laptops and dive computers. I get more reluctant to go to Mexico each year.
  12. Did you fly directly into Cozumel? I'm headed there next month and would like to avoid that issue.
  13. Olympus has the same feature, it's called Live View Boost. When it's turned on you get a bright display, regardless of what the camera setting are. I looked through the menu of my Canon T5i but I did not see anything similar, but it is an older camera.
  14. Have you watched the collection of video covering the TG series on Backscatter.com?
  15. Does anyone use the CMC-1 with the AOI M67 Flip Adapter? I just got the CMC-1 but when I try to use it with the flip adapter it will not screw all the way down without hitting the port. I can use the Nauticam adapter and attach it directly to the port without a problem, but I'd like to be able to flip it out of the way when needed.
  16. I can no longer connect to Wetpixel.com via my mobile or desktop. Did it finally come to an end?
  17. Bought from another WaterPixel member but ended up not using it. Asking $650.00, plus shipping. US only.
  18. I’m interested in the CMC-1, please.
  19. According to Backscatter.com the focus range is from 40mm to 78mm.
  20. That is a fantastic deal for someone wanting to upgrade from a compact (TG series) to a mirrorless.
  21. Looking for a Zen WA-100 dome port for the Olympus PEN system made for the Panasonic 7-14 f/4 lens. If you have the lens I might be interested in that too.
  22. You got a little more than that out of the sale because I kept buying items from you. LOL One of the reasons I bought from Chip though, was because there was a great communication process. He responded in a timely manner, provided pictures and even discussed settings that worked best for him. We had 4 pages of discussions about the camera, the lens and underwater photography in general. I knew I was dealing with someone who was experienced and knew what they were talking about. I felt extremely comfortable dealing with him and that is important, especially in this day and age. Communication in sales cannot be understated.
  23. I have the AC750, which I got about 3 years ago. It’s available on Amazon.
  24. I have a File Hub travel router that does what you are looking for. It connects to an app on your phone (I have an iPhone) via a wifi connection the router creates. There is a slot for an SD card, a USB slot and a USB-C slot. You can just plug the SD card in and the SSD, then use the app to transfer the files. I used to use it before I started taking my laptop on trips. It's not super fast but it worked.
