Hi,

 

I went to Raja Ampat again, after over a decade absence since my last trip. I have been on 14 nights liveboard. It was a Raja Ampat-Band Sea-Triton Bay itenary. An amazing route with totally different habitats. We covered 740nM. Unfortunately it was only two days diving at Triton Bay (one day with whalesharks).

Lovely - Really beautiful footage of the sea kraits and the sponges, and really great atmospheric music combination in the first half of the clip 👍

I like the camera, the sound, the editing. I don't like the colors. It seems like desaturated and hue shifted a bit unnatural even where video lights were used. I know it's extremely difficult to unify color tone throughout the movie but I just don't like the look of this. Which camera and software?

Hey Alex, loved the syncronicity of the sea snakes at the beginning, a beautiful way to bring us all into a beautiful video.  So many huge schools of fish, it was really stunning and brought back lovely memories of Raja.  Thanks for sharing and look forward to seeing more.

as i first heard this track i immediately had an image of twisting seakraits in the blue in my mind. On the dive i saw a single one in the blue, suddenly a second was swimming towards, i rocket out in the blue and got the shot. I felt my heart beating full of joy 😍

I like the colours, otherwise i would have changed it 😉 I dont like oversaturted an deep blue videos, they look unreal to me. 

Many scenes were shot deep, too deep to get accurate colors out of the cam, even with a Red. Like the huge group of fish at 04:05, 30+ meter depth. 

It's fantastic... so many great sequences. Thanks for posting. I also agree with you about colour.

 Thank you John! I didnt see any coral bleaching during my trip. I was happy about this fact and was wondering why there is none at the same time. The article covers the possible reasons. But we had water temp at the surface of 30 degrees and a lot of jellyfish on a couple of dive sites, which is because the warmer water, we were told. 

Awesome!! @Alex B I'm still glued to the screen!! The natural look, at first I thought it was simple, yet this is how we see naturally underwater! And I'm starting to like it more and more, let's see the my next video and what I'm going to do... For the viewers, it may not be very appealing, but when they go to see it live, this is what they will find!
