unregistered19 Posted Thursday at 06:40 PM Posted Thursday at 06:40 PM Sat on this set up for a while before getting it wet... thought I'd post on this as there isn't much out there regarding the MWL-1 on a Sony full-frame mirrorless. This setup is using a Sony A7 III housed in a Nauticam housing. Commlite ENF-E1 PRO adapter mates a Nikon 60mm Macro lens to the Sony body, and a Nauticam MWL-1. These were all shot in Cozumel, with one camera set up (MWL-1 on a flip up). I did have a CMC-1 on the other flip up, but didn't really see too much that called for its usage unfortunately. 2x OG Retra strobes manually controlled... though I've ordered 2x Backscatter HF-1 for my upcoming trip so I get TTL! These photos were from my first time using this setup... heading back to Cozumel in a month! Happy to answer any questions. And accept any critiques! 3
Chris Ross Posted Thursday at 09:48 PM Posted Thursday at 09:48 PM Some nice looking pics, one question as I recall that Nauticam recommended shooting at f16, what apertures were you using and assuming f14-16 range, did you find this a limitation?

Looking at my photos from the trip, all my shots were at f11-18. Can't say I felt a real limitation in terms of what I wanted to do! The f11 don't show much optical issues, so I was opening up to that point.
