Hi.

One of the rubber bumpers on the bottom of my underwater housing has unglued from the housing.

How should I glue it again, granting a proper adherence, so I do not loose the rubber part and that is stays at it's place doing it's job?

My housing is an Aquatica, for Canon 7D MkII.

I do not have the housing with me so I am not able to share the picture, but I found a picture at internet of a Sub housing where I pointed the rubber protection pads on the bottom I am talking about.

One of them got loose. How do I glue/attach it properly to the housing?

You could ask google there's lots of marine grade adhesives around, anything used on a boat would probably work, choice may be dictated by container size, you probably don't want to buy a full cartridge just to glue a single pad. This page reviews a number of marine adhesives:

You might go to Ship's chandler to see what they have to offer.

There really is not enough information to go on here. But I will suggest E6000. It is a strong and flexible adhesive that sets up clear and might work here.

I have used this for gluing all sorts of things to housings and other toys.

This is my goto glue. Works on drysuit and wetsuits too.

The solution Aquatica advised is to clean properly the spot on the housing and the rubber pad and to use Gorilla glue or Krazy glue.

I fully agree that any marine grade glue or silicone will do the job. A time ago, one of my floaters got flooded inside, and I took it apart, cleaned the old glue and sealed with marine grade silicone. A random one, bought it on a nearby hardware store. A few years later it is still in a good shape.

Your job with that small rubber would be much easier, so go ahead and tell us how was it.

Epoxy or super glue might work, in particular the super glue, but I would probably still use a dab of E6000 instead. The super glue or epoxy will leave glue residue on the housing if the bumper is removed again or needs replacing. The E6000, with some effort, can be picked off leaving the housing clean.

Not specific to this but I always try to consider that (what) if Plan A does not work, how does the remains of Plan A impact an opportunity for a Plan B. This methodology keeps my options open and prevents me from becoming stuck between a rock and a hard place.
