August 1, 2025Aug 1 Very beautiful shots! Which travel agency did you use to get there?Have you only been once with the mobulas? They would have deserved another scene..!Great vid!
August 2, 2025Aug 2 Author @fruehaufsteher2 thank you!We organized the trip independently, but took our day-trips out on the boat with The Dive Gurus based in La Paz. They were great! We took 2 days out looking for mobulas and had nice success both times, finding a few very large groups vortexing. It’s only legal to snorkel with them rather than dive, but it was still absolutely worth it.Cheers,Bronson
August 2, 2025Aug 2 Really beautiful footage - brings back memories of my time working there, and fun seeing what i think is the Fang-Ming, and a grumpy bull again!I also like the colours, did you manual white-balance at depth on the Sony A7siii?cheersben
August 2, 2025Aug 2 Author @bghazzal appreciate the note! 🙏And you got it right, it was the Fang Ming. Very fun site for sure; lots of epic schools of fish. La Paz seems like a great place to spend some time working!Glad the color felt good to you — I shot natural light throughout the trip taking manual white balances with a WhiBal card. It’s interesting going back through the footage after the trip — the shifting visibility really makes for a variety of color casts in the water.Best,Bronson
