I'm using DaVinci resolve for Video.

I'm using Lightroom mobile to edit stills (and honestly quite happy with my results and I really believe the future is editing everything in smartphones ^^).

However - I understand that even if I have lightroom on my computer it doesn't do focus stacking.

Which software is are you using (is PS recommended for this?) so I can minimize the amount of software to purchase.

(Or maybe a free software does that too? than continue in lightroom) - Open to recommendations :)

I used Helicon Focus in the past an I liked it. If I remember well it was free at that time, now tyou need to get a license for a reasonable price. It has a lot of options but if you use the defaults you will get good results.

seems like I'm asking noobie questions but I shoot raw, and I need to convert to DNG before using helicon focus?

On the free trial it literally asks to download the adobe RAW --> DNG converter and than it works fine.

The software works great just seems that focus bracketing on my GH5M2 isn't fast as a burst so I'm just doing a burst macro shoot and try to focus stack it in Helicon Focus. Need some practicing but works :)
