Panasonic S1Rii

Featured Replies

Hi, Im looking at putting my S1Rii in a Nauticam housing. I want to shoot Video and stills. 60/40

Has anyone used a the Lumix 100mm F2.8 with Macro Port 27?

The Sigma 105mm doesn't support manual focus in the housing or MFO-3 based on Port Chart.

I want to Manual focus as well as Auto, for super macro video

It comes with Bayonet Mount only (Macro Port 27), but port chart doesn't support M67 (I have Dual Flip and Diopters and MFO-3, ) - Don't want Bayonet Mount!

Was going to adapt my EF lens etc, but adapting is hit and miss so not going that path.

Anyone with Panasonic experience would be appreciated.

Regards

Hugh

What is the "it" are you referring to the MFO3? It comes with an M67 adapter which may or may not suit your flip, there was a thread on the forum recently discussing different options to use it with a flip depending on which model flip you have. I think if I recall the supplied m67 adapter didn't work with maybe the AOI flip?? but another type of m67 adapter worked.

If you are talking about the Macro port 27 itself with the integrated bayonet you might be able to use the macro port 6 with either 20 or 25mm extension rings if you want an m67 port. The 20mm appears it might be 1mm too short and the 25mm would be about 4mm too long but one of the combinations might work? You would have to check with a dealer.

Sorry, if not clear, the M27 port appears to be Bayonet Only. I want to keep using the nauticam dual Flip I recently acquired with the MFO-3 and SMC-3. I like how it works with my existing video system.

I've become greedy and want to shoot video and take photos on same dive. (Will include strobes)

I own a S1R2 and its a great camera. I was hoping there might be other Panasonic users on here given the S series cameras are very similar.

Will check with a dealer.
