Do you think this is really happening?

I have an AOI wet lens for wide angle, but I really miss the Tokina 10-17 that I used to shoot with my previous rig (Nikon D80). I find the 8mm fisheye (Oly or Pana) not very versatile, a fisheye zoom would be an awesome add.

Any info out there?

Looks like a repost from when they were announced for Sony.

It would make sense for these to be all one lens body with adapters to accommodate different AF protocols and flange distances.

It would be a great addition, you probably could use the adapted Canon 8-15 or even the Tokina 10-17 with speed booster even with AOI, but you would be guessing about extensions needed. Though I don't think an 8-15 m43 would be high on their list to start making somehow.

Yeah, you are probably right, it seems it will be the same lens with different adapters. Not the best solution for M43 considering the size of a FF lens.

Extensions and zoom rings (I have a 3d printer though).

I feel like chinese companys are starting to see some future in M43. May be is the Go Pro Mission effect, may be is because I want it to happen and is just a wish 😛
