Great White Sharks - Guadalupe Island and alternative dive destinations?

Hi everyone,

I’m interested in getting some information about great white shark diving.

First of all, does anyone know the current situation regarding Guadalupe Island in Mexico? The island has been closed to great white shark cage diving for some time now.

Does anyone know how long the closure is expected to last? Have there been any recent updates, changes or signs that the area might reopen?

Secondly, I’m interested in alternative destinations around the world where you can encounter great white sharks underwater.

Apart from Guadalupe, are there any other good locations where you can experience great white sharks in their natural environment, ideally with opportunities for underwater photography and filming?

I’d love to hear about your personal experiences, recommendations and any information you might have.
