  1. I always recommend people get as much memory (Max it out or 1 step down if you can) and SSD (no smaller then 1TB) that you can afford with new Macs, as you can not upgrade later. Memory crucial for longevity and add on SSD can be done.
  2. Welcome Matt, glad you made it over.

Hey all, Yesterday I ran some updates to help with some lag issues on the site. Something happened to the SSL certificate eventually making the website seem down for about 40 mins. All issues resolved and should be a bit snappier. Normally I would have posted about something like a major update and put the times I would do them, but this was not suppose to be a situation where the server was unreachable. All good now, sorry about that. 🤞
  5. Sorry guys, did a bunch of updates last night, and something went wrong today. All is resolved.
  6. Welcome!
  7. thinking it should go for repair... Could try turning the camera on, no lens. give the camera a good knock with your palm of your other hand to the base. See if it releases. not super hard but a good few knocks. What could it hurt at this point. but sending in seems sound advice.
  8. thanks.. Enjoying the moment he/she was....
  9. Only have the cropped up version for my profile pic on this computer.. But a fish face non the less.. 🤣
  10. should be able to change country in settings under your account.
  11. I happily made these a few years ago zero issues. Ive tried coiled and not coiled. I like to route the cable on the arms and I use those plastic stretchy Silicone wrist bands that my kids love on my floats to hold it. Amazon has the, cheap or cheeper if you have kids who you can steal them from 🤣. You can even get your name on them these days. One thing I found, maybe it's just me is unless I leave enough slack to fully open the arms it tends to pull. So I coiled just a small part between the housing and where it first attaches to the arm to reduce the cable from being in the way and it expands if I pull my ams wide. I thought about doing a small coils at the first & second arm joint and even at the strobe side but haven't done that yet..
  12. Welcome, glad to have you here..

  19. @nahcnor My experience was that once I printed the plate and took the Supporting block to the grinder. The camera worked perfect and alignment was good. I felt like the buttons to there respectful control button on the outside of the camera felt a slight bit tight. so shaving about 1mm from the black nubs made a huge difference to fix that. I would recommend once you do the supporting bracket and the camera mounting plate see how it feels to you. If there are buttons that feel weird then shave its nub down a little. Do that for any buttons you feel that are "tight". Ive dotted the nubs on this pic in yellow. Some pop in some glue. I just got a bag of nubs, so you'll have to hunt for those or use my photo to show your local dealer. The only real part I got a number for is the Supporting Block shown below which comes with the nubs and screws. Ive converted mine back now because I housed a Z8 and need to sell it but it works perfectly with Z7 again. Hope that helps you.

  21. Thanks Stewart, if you come across the company that will do progressive lens do share. I’ll do some googling, might have to try that. Im good now with my multifocus dailies now but i think my time is numbered on that.
  22. We have decided to adjust the image size requirements to help better fit full size images to the Post column, in turn this also reduces the file size a tiny bit which in the long run will be good on the storage size and on page load speeds. It all adds up. If page load speeds are effected in the future we may Thumbnail posted images a bit smaller to include in post, but clicking on them will give you the max size image you uploaded. We will keep an eye on it. 👀 For now, the updated information is: Although we are not limiting upload sizes, if images are not uploaded with a max 1200px on the longest side, the system will resize for you and discard the original upload. Some compression will occur. Recommended that you size your images before upload at 1200px on the longest side with a 72-96 dpi. Also updated the pin: Basic Rules - Read before You Post
