We have decided to adjust the image size requirements to help better fit full size images to the Post column, in turn this also reduces the file size a tiny bit which in the long run will be good on the storage size and on page load speeds. It all adds up. If page load speeds are effected in the future we may Thumbnail posted images a bit smaller to include in post, but clicking on them will give you the max size image you uploaded. We will keep an eye on it. π For now, the updated information is: Although we are not limiting upload sizes, if images are not uploaded with a max 1200px on the longest side, the system will resize for you and discard the original upload. Some compression will occur. Recommended that you size your images before upload at 1200px on the longest side with a 72-96 dpi. Also updated the pin: Basic Rules - Read before You Post

Ive just added both Apple ID and Google Sign in methods to the system. If you log out and go to sign in page you should see the options. This will link your account to make sign in easier if you choose to use. Ive tested it and seems to work great, Just PM me if you have a problem. You can also go to your account settings and select the one you want to use and Click configure. π

CFExpress Type B memory card DIY project
RichN replied to Dave_Hicks's topic in Tutorials, How-Tos, DIY
Thanks for posting Dave, I had done the same thing when I got my Z8 having a few cards I couldn't resist for the cost to build a 1TB card. I used a ZITAY CFexpress Type B Card to NVME M.2 2230 SSD box off amazon for 40.00, and SABRENT Rocket 2230 NVMe 4.0 1TB High Performance PCIe 4.0 M.2 2230 SSD [SB-2130-1TB] for 90.00 with some thermal tape. Ive had zero issues. Ive read some mixed reviews on doing this.. but my experience is great for the savings. Using Black Magic Speed Test I get about 850mb/s - 1000mb/s Read and Write (4GB File) on my MacBook Pro with a SABRENT CFexpress Type B Card Reader. I'll have to try with my camera connected can't imagine it would do much better. Not getting the max, but for the money it's not bad and I don't feel it's limiting the camera for me at least. I also got a SABRENT Rocket CFX 512gb CFexpress Type B Memory Card 2 Pack for 298.00 I haven't actually compared the speeds with the DIY one to these. I'll have to do that later. -
Welcome Eric, Glad you could make it here... i think we are all sad at the path Wetpixel took. i canβt imagine your thoughts. Thanks for doing and leading us to where we are thou. The community wouldnβt be here with out you.. thanks

hmm. sorry and thanks for letting us now, we have not seen a problem with that yet. But nothing has went thru.. Maybe close browser, clear Cache, and try again. Im going to check the actual server logs too for anything.

Very nice! Ive been trying to justify that purchase for a bit... I may try to rent and see how I get along with it. haha. Thanks for posting.. I think the best quality wise we will get on the forums, is We adjust to 1500px on the long side @ 72-96dpi, this will keep it from hitting the compression on the server.

π€¦π»ββοΈ that explains it haha glad thatβs sorted

Nauticam NA-Z7 Housing Conversion for Nikon Z6/Z7 II
RichN replied to svilen's topic in Tutorials, How-Tos, DIY
I confirm I did the conversion as well. Worked really well. I actually sourced all the Parts with Naticam so I could return the housing to its original state. But Z7 II worked great.. Thanks again for doing this. @svilen its Moodog. -

Hey all, just wanted to clarify how things are working right now. In order to get the store up quickly, we are using the built in store of the forums. Which has its issues but it works pretty good. A new store will be implemented in time thou... until then. Once Items are added to the cart and you proceed to "Place Order" (No payment will be needed at this time) Your order will be put in to a holding status. While in this status, we will create the order and calculate the Shipping & Tax/VAT. Once we do that we will update your order in the system (exact shipping & tax/vat from the supplier) and you will get a email and/or a notification here. You can then review the order with the added fees, and at that time pay for your order. When we get payment notification, your order will be placed. Doing it like this, for global market was the easiest thing to do right now to get you guys the cheapest shipping and to deal with Tax/VAT. We are trying to pick products that are available in all facilities globally. So orders ship to you from the closest place also eliminating any import fees etc..... Hope this helps clarify the process.. Trying to make it easy.. Looking to add more things, plus color options for shirts. Post here your color preferences. We will see globally what we can make happen. Thanks everyone

Thanks for the feedback.. I do think that Tims custom hand painted mugs are coming. π€£ Ive added the size charts to the T-shirts and will do so in the future listings as well. Unfortunately, adding EUR right now is not an option. As well as auto shipping cost and Tax/VAT estimates. At this time, as you place an order and proceed to check out, you will not enter Credit Card or pay. The order will go in to a hold status. We will get notification of the order, and update it with the direct cost of shipping & Tax/VAT from the printer and you will be notified. If you decide at that time to proceed with order, you will be given the option to pay. Saying all that, Once things calm down just a bit here, Im going to move things to a new store and all your items will be addressed. Funny I haven't noticed this, I just thought it was a preview of the item description. I'll see if I can do something about that quickness. Thanks for seeing it π π³ I like the member name option. We might see that sooner then later.. At least the option π€£ Ill make a post about color options and maybe create a poll, We need to make sure we pick stuff that is in stock in all of the main hubs. Thanks again for the feedback...

Looking in to this there does not seem to be a way to set a default stream. But I could perhaps edit the code to add it. I'll dig a little on it.
