  1. Thanks. I used manual focus. I wouldn't manage to do this one with AF.
  2. I was allowed to try a z-cam in nauticam housing with a 100 mm macro at an underwater video workshop today. I kept it simple and it was quite fun.
  3. As far as I remember, off the coast of Scotland, they calculated lost fishing gear caught twice the amount of fish as commercial fishing (about 2000). This is a sad and good example showing the problem with fishing gear.
  4. Lovely photo. The first image was a bit diferent to the normal high quality goby photos I see with nice color contrasts to the sea squirt and the green dots. Lovely composition.
  5. I guess I will read the VoiceOver once again and remix it with the music, but here is a first version of some changes in a part of the Norwegian coastline during the last 15 years.
  6. Welcome. I've had a look at some of your ocean stories and they are lovely. I really enjoy the freediving focus on shallow marine life .)
  7. I often regret I use apparture 32 or 22 when evaluating my photos, but it's quite safe. I see the amount of sharp photos are getting quite low when using more open apparture than 10 (on 100 mm macro with diopter). Here are F10 quite near minimum distance (100 mm & +10 diopter) and F 8 & 5.6 a bit further away. I think F 5.6 make it more or less impossible to get both eyes sharp
  8. Beautiful scenes. To improve even more, I think I'd try to gety the changes between scenes, maybe with slower swimming, a bit longer time on each place and then changfe to something (visual) similar. I guess you'd have enough material for at least two small films here, so focusing on one theme in each of them (like small life in one and landscapes and schools in another) would make the impression stronger. Anyway: Nice film and cool nature. Lokks like a beautiful place to dive. Rune
  9. Lovely way of making an anti-spamming control
  10. Filamentous algaes as an indicator of poor environmental status - If the density of think, threadlike algaes cover more than 25 % of rocks, kelp, bladderwrack or eel-grass, we say theu make a problem. More nutrient water with lower Ph (due to CO2), higher temperature, lower saltinity (more rain and more fresh water along the coastline) make the conditions better. 15 years ago the areas in the photos were quite clean from these algaes and filled with kelp and bladderwrack. The same growth is coming along the whole nothern european coastline up to Lofoten. This is from the southern and south-western parts of Norway where the situation is worse than in the North.
  11. Nice and stable film. I'd like to go back some day
  12. Nice posing with a good and clean background. Are there several anemones on this one? It seems to me like it's four or five? Lovely shot.
