  1. I now keep all my lenses in a Pelican case with a bunch of desiccant packs inside. I dry out the packs about every 3 months.
  2. I love the.... "take the lens apart and clean it" bit... yeah, I know, it's not quite that, but.....
  3. Hey Eric Great to have you with us. All refugees most welcome!
  4. I can vouch for that. Lost 2 lenses after 12 months working in the Lembeh Straits.
  5. Hey Grm. Thanks! We’re delighted to have you with us. Happy reading!
  6. Great to have you with us, Andrew. Welcome!
  7. I’ve got a Sola P800 which should be an excellent focus light. Easily adjustable red/white and brightness. But their charging system I find dodgy. I think they’re a popular focus light but I don’t think I can recommend them.
  8. Wow, that is a really interesting point. How is that done for black water diving? No lights, and presumably a boat drifting and not on a mooring?
  9. Most important dive purchase. Bond has a lot to answer for.
  10. Hi Andrey! Great to have you with us. Welcome to Waterpixels! Best wishes
  11. Still available. Steady as a rock. Light, compact. Bargain. Think how much you save by buying this!
  12. Still available. In perfect condition. One careful owner. Low mileage.
  13. Wearing a rubber hood......
  14. You got there in the end, Steve. That’s all that counts !
  15. Welcome to Waterpixels, wydeangle. Great to have more Wetpixel refugees with us. You're amongst friends!
  16. Thanks, Justin. All added
  17. Does anyone feel they could write a short (say, 250 words for each) explanation of what the following do and how to use them? EMWL: Extended Macro Wide Lens FCP: Fisheye Conversion Port WACP: Wide-Angle Correction Port or Wide-Angle Conversion Port I'm sure a lot of members would find that really interesting.
  18. Yep, the Superchargers sure avoid "range-anxiety". I'm one of those who now rarely (?never) takes a focus light. The Retra pilot light is very good, I find, especially for macro or snoot use. No need of course for wide-angle.
  19. Amen to that!
  20. Hi Waterpixel - great to have you here and sorry we knicked your name. It was tooooo tempting 😆 I'm sure you'll find lots of other Wetpixel refugees here. We really hope you like the site.
  21. Hi James! Great to have you with us. A warm welcome to Waterpixels. And great to have Backscatter with us.
  22. Good question. There must be quite an impact for snoot users, I’d have thought.
  23. ... and some hot chocolate. Welcome, Pekka. Great to have you with us.
  24. Hi Wolfgang! Great to have you with us - a warm welcome. We're building quite a German contingent. Excellent!
