Hi bghazzal, I was not thinking about log a as an alternative to filters but as a “add-on”. I will try to give it a try, for what I understand you can always go back to previous firmware in case that “not official” Gopro Lab” doesn’t work. I like the idea also that with that firmware Gopro can read QR codes underwater and change settings alone. Thanks for the info.

I was wondering if anyone has tried GoPro labs and the beta firmware for using “Log”, in the GoPro labs page says: LOGB=logbase,offset - Super experimental, alter the log encoding for more dynamic range, or for a closer match with other camera’s log curves. i.e design your own flat profile. Ideal for use with 10-bit, and the existing flat color setting. P.S. I’m posting here but for not creating a new post, I couldn’t find information about that.

If I’m understanding right, you mount all the housing and camera and put a strap no and simply say that is your camera? And you don’t have problems at all? Mmmm I would have to think about it for doing it myself, the image in the cue with the housing on the shoulders must be epic. 😁 By the way, good staff in this post.

I usually find a lot cheaper flights doing a stopover and change airline, but this time was too tight. For future travels I will take in consideration your recommendation for the flights. Things are getting worst: I have contacted the Airline, in this case Garuda, and has confirmed one thing I didn’t know about it, is that If you lose the first flight of the booking you cannot use any other flight although are from different dates… Mmm that is bad news. First I thought, well the worst that can happen is that I have to buy one more flight ,but is not the case If I don’t manage to do it on time I lose even the return flight… what a policy...🥵 I am considering delaying the flight to the next day, despite losing a day of diving.

About immigration I will do the SG Arrival card online, that you could do 3 days before arriving there. Our main problem, I think, will be arriving with the luggage on the check-in counter. Next time, I think will follow your advice and take same itinerary, this time for saving some money we took different itinerary, but the level of stress I suspect don’t will be worth the money…

Next November we are going for a trip, the thing is that due to a modification of departure time I have only 2 hours and 10 minutes to make a transit in Changi. I’m arriving to Terminal 2 and will have to clear immigration, collect luggage and arrive to the check-in counter in Terminal 3, one hour before departure. This let us only 1h10’ to make it. I remember for another trip that the immigration clearance was quite fast but I’m unsure that I could make it on time. In case anyone else has had such a tight transit any tip / trick or anything that could make me think is feasible would be appreciate it. Cheers

I think changing a viewfinder is my worst nightmare. No clue how to do it, and attached in the housing forever 😅

Hi, thank you. My DL07 it’s on his way home, I will have try. 😁 I bought it on discount for a really good price.

For anyone interested, finally I bought for testing the DL07 model. These three other models DL20R, WK20S, DL16 only have spot light, although the beam angle varies from 66º to 78º is refereeing to the “secondary” beam angle of the spot light. For focus light I think is better to have floodlight with lesser power. Although I’m not sure the DL07 in the low brightness floodlight mode would be of any use for focus light. I bought it at a ridiculous price to be honest. Cheers.

Hi everyone, I would like to ask for some advice, I am using a S&S for Nikon D300, on the housing I used the accessory shoe on top for attaching a focus light or a Gopro. I would like to use to mount both at the same time. I was thinking of using a triple ball clamp but I’m not sure if there is a better solution for that. Any advice would be helpful.
