boduoguo Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I have an A7R2, nauticam housing. 28-60+WWL or 8-15+kenko+metabones, which is a better choice? I usually travel in the tropics to dive. shooting sharks, manta, turtles, etc... Looking forward to your suggestions.
Guest Posted April 28 Posted April 28 The two combinations overlap very little 8+15 Kenko goes from 15 to 21 mm 28-60 + WWL is 20 to 42mm The above in fisheye focal lengths If you are shooting close range and need a solution for large animals that come close 8-15 Kenko is the best solution If instead you are not that close and need to zoom in more 28-60 + WWL-1 is a better solution Ideally you need both or you can get the new Nauticam FCP as all in one
Barmaglot Posted April 28 Posted April 28 I would be a bit wary of adapted lenses on A7R II; the autofocus performance with adapters on Sony bodies that old is somewhat iffy.

Would kenko x2 be a solution? Does the kenko x2 lose a lot of IQ?
