Out of curiosity - does anyone make adapters that will allow for use of Nauticam ports on other brands of housings (eg, AOI or Seafrogs or whatever)? I have switched to Marelux and have a whole lot of ports etc lying around, and thought it might be worth putting together an inexpensive secondary system with a newer OM Systems body - and since I can get AOI or Seafrogs for a very nice trade rate, that might be worth giving a go. This also becomes something I can rent out to anyone wanting to do a photography class with me or something.

Depends on which port, Nauticam N120 are easily adapted to Isotta and S&S, just by changing the lug ring. But there is very little I've seen to use N120 ports on smaller system ports like n85, or Isotta B102 which go with the m43 cameras. I think it probably unlikely to find anything you can use on AOI or Seafrogs. A lot of adapters have been discontinued recently, Backscatter still has a few of them:

Marelux has adapters for S&S and Nauticam N120 for use with WACP1/2 FCP, ports and extensions. They also have an N100 to Marelux 17mm adapter for WACP-C and WACP-1 in N100 I think it would work with other N100 ports depending on extension length needed.

Sagadive.com also makes custom port adapters however cost V gain over buying a Seafrogs port with built-in extension may not make it worth the investment. AOI uses two different port mounts. Zen Underwater makes a port adapter for some of the Zen ports to AOI.

Ah, I should have clarified - I meant the N85 ports that go with the Nauticam MFT housings. If I can find a way to use them with third party housings, that would be really nice. Can get a couple of cheaper housings and have full setups ready for divers to take on dives.

Worst case, I'll just pick up a Nauticam housing for the OM3 whenever it comes out, and keep the OM10 housing as well (not as if I'm getting a lot for it if I sell it anyway).

I've written to Isotta to see if their MFT housings can take N85 ports - to be honest, there wont be much of a price savings, if any, if I go that route but might as well try a different brand if I can.

Isotta have two port sizes B102 and B120 and the Olympus/OM System cameras use B102. There is a B102 to B120 port converter and a B120 to B102 port converter.

They also make converters to use other brands of ports on Isotta housings. They have a B120 housing to Nauticam port N120 converter and to Nauticam port N100.
