CaolIla
Hello. I'm Hugues and I live in Alsace, a region in the north-east of France. I started diving in 2014, 10 years ago Since the beginning I've been doing underwater photography For over 2 years I have invested in a Canon R5 with an Isotta underwater housing. For macro I use a Canon RF100mm lens, it's great lens, I love it. I also use an SMC-1 with it, but not a lot... I don't realy need it.. For wide-angle photos I have the RF14-35mm and for a few weeks now the brand new RF10-20mm lens fantastic after the first tests... I often dive all year round at the Gravière du Fort, a gravel pit near Strasbourg. My wife and I try to travel as much as possible to destinations where we can dive in warm water. Our favorite destination is Indonesia. More specifically North Sulawesi, with Bunaken and of course Lembeh You can see my "work" on Flickr Diving trip and some freshwater photos Fresh water near home Enjoy and feel free to criticize my photos I have an other hobby... 3D printing for some part I used for my underwater photo equipment. (My last realisation is a snoot with an iris opening adjustment.) Hugues
TimG
Hi Hugues! Welcome to Waterpixels - great to have you with us. Very cool on the 3D printing. You're the second member who talks about diving at Graviere du Fort. Is it worth a short article?

A short information over the Gravière du Fort... GdF as short name. A lot of divers from the noth-east of France are diving there The infrastucture is really good. 2 compressor, classroom etc. a big parking... it's really a nice place. Some divers are coming from Germany, Switzerland or Belgium. The GdF is a private place it's a "Base fédérale" from the FFESSM (the French underwater federation" You can find a lot of fishes, and the visibilty is realy fine. an entry point

Would you like to turn this into an article?
bghazzal
Yes, a Gravière du Fort article would be great - it's a pretty famous site in French diving! I've also often heard about Bécon-Les-Granits.
