Preview of the MFO-2 - Now called MFO-3
I have one in the regular macro 65 port so can't change to macro mode but I find it extremely versatile. At least as a general use lens combined with a mild diopter for larger macro subjects. Internal zoom makes it work very well with wet optics.

Exposure Problem - Olympus 9-18mm
Have you tried it with strobes in manual? Tested above water?

Seems like you'd be uniquely served by the Olympus 12-50ez, it's a weird lens but extremely versatile.

All set for Wide Angle but found an excellent Macro subject
Those are great shots Dave. I really struggle to get light into octo dens and you nailed it.

Float Arm Repair
The Flexibuoy is interesting but I don't know if I want to be actively managing the buoyancy of my camera as well as myself on a technical ascent. Unless it has some sort of OPV and I can simply inflate it to maximum at depth? The price is appealing and it looks like it would travel easily.

Float Arm Repair
Put the end in boiling water for perhaps 15-20 minutes then tap it out once the epoxy is soft.

WACP-C vs WWL-1B for Sony Nauticam setup
Mine doesn't need a burp screwed directly to the port (WWL-1). I don't think the bayonet mount is particularly water tight.

Question on dual flip lens holders
I'd use thin walled aluminum tube for the ID and OD and machine some plates to seal the ends. Possibly just epoxy them on. I'd attach via friction. I'd still prefer a 3D printed option since I could make it a lot more conformal including some specific cut-outs for my housing and to allow me to access the bayonet release. I've also tossed around the idea of a conformal float base which would also be a simple DPV mount. Having the floation as close to the center of the housing as possible seems to make tilt a lot easier to accomplish vs on the arms.

Question on dual flip lens holders
Would you be able to do a quick calculation on what the lift would be for an N85 Port 65? I'm trying to decide if it's worth pursuing vs other options such as getting one made with aluminum (manual machining is easier for me than CAD ironically)

Sony A7C II & CR Review
Any clue how cost will compare with the WWL-C?

Burping WWL-1B with dry gloves
A little jiggle gets all the bubbles out of my WWL-1 and it's screwed into the port?

What's better than diving with a camera?
I too am based on Vancouver Island for the next while. Where are you diving?

RX100VA Close-Up Options - Lens Advice Needed
Unconventional thought: A wet wide lens with zoom through capabilities is something I use with a 26-95mm FF equivalent lens for smallish creatures. Yes it's not macro but it's also a lot faster to acquire and focus.

Move from DX to FF — success… so far
Indeed, things generally come out of drysuit pockets but they rarely go back in during my dives anyway.

I never trust a pocket unless it has a bit of bungee inside to clip an object on to. For now I just clip that cap onto a float arm or my tether.

PVC Foam Floats
I'm currently investigating 3D printing molds then casting using epoxy and microballoons. Likely more dense and durable than really needed unless I can track down some macroballoons but those are not very commonly available. The other option is stacking PVC foam then coating with epoxy. Although at that point a 3D print might be just as effective. The goal is conformal buoyancy rather than on the arms to reduce drag while mounted on a DPV and when freediving. Large float arms make for a lot of drag through the water and traditional float collars are depth limited.

I drilled a hole and use some bungee with boltsnap. At one point I accidentally dropped it and the boltsnap kept it in place.

Hello from Washington
What part of Washington do you dive?

It's all a GAS: Gear Acquisition Syndrome
I run phones until they die and buy cameras/housings at least 5 years old. I look at the images they created when new and can tell I've got a ways to go. I'm not exactly well liked in camera or dive shops.

WWL-1 on MWL-1 flip adapter
Nauticam replied saying that although they will physically bolt up the alignment of the WWL-1 is much more critical than the MWL-1, which was something I wasn't expecting. Saved me a $550 experiment however.

[Selling] Nauticam WWL-1B, N100 Flat Port 45, M67 to Bayonet mount
I'd be interested in the bayonet mount

Downsizing from Full Frame to M4/3
I recently "downgraded" from an A6500 (in a Sea Frogs salted) to a GH4, mainly because it was practically free including the Nauticam housing. I haven't dove it much but for my uses (mostly social media) it seems a better format with more appropriate lenses, higher sync speed and wider white balance capabilities. I can foresee going to a newer body down the road. I'm unsure if I'll miss the IBIS and higher native ISO.

WWL-1 on MWL-1 flip adapter
The holder I'm referring to is specific to the MWL-1 but looks like the same flange size as the WWL-1. I don't think I'd try it on the regular adapter.

WWL-1 on MWL-1 flip adapter
The weight is the same both in and out of water. The MWL-1 is actually longer and only 22mm less diameter.
