I'm really impressed with the innovation coming out of Marelux, plus the offer of adapter to and from Nauticam makes it easy to want to invest in their system. I'm likely to try my Canon 60mm behind the Zen 100 dome at some point. Although I think that dome is likely to be the wrong shape but I'm curious if it will allow me to travel with one less port when macro isn't the focus.

A wide rectilinear with AF that works behind a 140mm is definitely very appealing. How stopped down does it need to be for useable corners?

I must have found a different Viltrox 14mm online, the one I saw was manual.

If you're using Nauticam and considering compact manual rectilinear options I'd look at the adapted Nikonos.

The 8-15 AF FE is obviously a huge question, especially if it looks like it could take a TC.

I ran the 12-50 in that port with the WWL-1, it had to run at 14mm because of the WWL-1 but not because of the port. Also compatible with more diopter mounts. But you give up the rather dubious "macro" setting.

If you run the port for the 60mm macro then the WWL-C won't vignette at 12mm.

Keep in mind the WWL is a bit of a fisheye. Have you considered defishing in post? Or do you want something tighter than the 8mm in addition to being rectilinear? There have been people who like the 8-25 but that's a pretty expensive lens which needs expensive ports.

I don't know of any domes which are coated on the outside, it would be attacked far too easily.

To my mind this would be ideal for Giant Pacific Octopus, letting me get a wide perspective inside the den while also being a decent FL for filming if I happen on one out for a stroll. I'd prefer to have it on a flip holder. If it folded over the port I could see 3D printing some sort of cradle to support it when folded and possible add flotation. I'm not a huge fan of the stix since they lose flotation past 30m but I rarely do macro that deep anyway.

Price quoted at $999, so more than the MV60 which makes sense given how much more glass is in there. I'll be very curious to see test shots and specs.

Which version of DP100? There are ones for the Tokina and the Canon with different extension built in. I believe you can use the Tokina version with a Canon if you add a 20mm extension.

The ports and lenses, depending on what they are, might be worthwhile.

On Sony you need the 35.5mm N120 adapter plus the DP100T for N120. I wouldn't buy the DP100 new, I'd look for a 140mm port instead. But the DP100 show up used fairly often.

That Sigma 20-200 is very tempting as a do-everything sort of lens. Like the 12-50 on MFT but both wider and tighter. Should be a very easy zoom gear to make as well for us Nauticam folks.

Like an MWL-1 for longer focal length and not quite as wide. I'll be curious to see cost and some test shots.

Since (from what I understand) the projection on this is skewed closer to a rectilinear do you think it would benefit from a larger dome? Added to that does anyone think it would de-fish with less correction than say the 8-15mm lenses while retaining corner sharpness? Reviews above water are impressive.

Try it both ways, mine is very clear when it lines up correctly and it's not 100% on the mark. Also a cloth soaked in hot water should help if you don't have a lot of water available.
