  1. This is very exciting. Thinking about custom stuff like N100 down to N85 without adding extension to allow using ASP-C Sony lenses on FF for when I want a more compact setup. Or Nikonos adapters for cameras other than Sony. Basically the weird stuff few people want.
  2. In my experience shooting stills with the camera forward is very challenging, although a monitor or possibly angled eyepiece would help. The mount I designed has detents at 90 degree increments and has a toolless camera removal which works okay underwater.
  3. There are also the 3d printed fixed focus/aperture lenses using the optical components from disposable cameras.
  4. I have a 3D printable mount that has been tested up to ASPC sized cameras, I'd be willing to share the CAD file so long as you don't commercialize it.
  5. The ones I posted take a Sea&Sea connector, which would make screwing them in a bit easier unless some sort of rotating component was built in. In my case I'd like straight connectors with some flex if that makes sense?
  6. They thread on like a cap. I can thread a 1/4 compression fitting on there. But I'm guessing something in TPU could thread on without actually having to print threads. NauticamOptical Fiber Connector for Nauticam (to use with 26216)(...For use with the Nauticam Universal Fiber Optic Cable. Provides connection to Nauticam housings with threaded optical cable bulkhead.
  7. That's a deal. I'll measure the length I need, if I can cut it with nothing special I'd probably order twice the length I need to have spare. S&S plug on one end and Nauticam on the other.
  8. I'd be in for a set of cables if you can make one end fit Nauticam DSLR?
  9. The Kraken USB port is not expensive and then you need not open anything under vacuum.
  10. Housing only no ports or vacuum valve. Mint condition.
  11. I'm thinking about wreck survey as well. Can I ingest logs from Subsurface?
  12. If I'm reading correctly; if you have the time sync'd between computer and camera this will add depth information for each photo?
  13. I'm just getting started shooting this lens on an A7RIII and the hunting is a challenge. I don't really want to go down the focus limiter route since I do occasionally want to shoot larger subjects. I find myself right at the limits of close focus regularly which then tends to make the lens go to maximum focal length when it hunts. Would a mild diopter help?
  14. Welcome! You might find yourself bumping up against the limitations of the Salted housing in the long term, but good news is that Sea Frogs now produces an aluminum housing for that camera which is compatible with Marelux and with an adapter I believe Nauticam ports. -Grant
  15. Welcome, I am also diving the East side from Nanoose on down regularly. -Grant
  16. I've got a pair of YS-D2 and z240 I'm currently using.
  17. If you decide to separate let me know. I'd be interested in the 10-18 and dome, possible the macro and port as well.
  18. When I was starting from zero on this I decided to learn free open source programs instead. Food for thought.
  19. Anything which predicts to create an image isn't the original image. I don't personally want to take credit for an image which AI produced.
  20. Is AI upscaling actually your images though? I tend to believe it's not.
  21. You use the ring and no defuser? I've been trying to defuse my way past the poor water conditions we get this time of year, perhaps I need to DIY some rings.
  22. https://bluerobotics.com/store/watertight-enclosures/locking-series/wte-end-cap-vp/ Seems like a variety of domes?
  23. I think BluRov have a 6" hemispherical dome. That might be worth building something around. A dome which is cheap and easy to replace would be a nice for CFWA.
