3D Printed Optical Sync Cable Port for Nauticam Housings
Thanks Dave!

Upgrade advice: g7xiii to mirrorless (im driving myself crazy)
I'd look at a used Nauticam or Aquatica housing for the Z6/7 I-II over a Ikelite personally. The consensus seems to be that you'll be using the EVF with an add-on viewfinder pretty soon if you are serious about using a mirrorless.

DPV Camera Mount Options
In my experience the dome doesn't have anywhere near as much drag as the strobes and arms. Maybe because it rides within the bow-wave of the DPV? But also I'm using smaller than 180mm so far.

Best cross bar for nauticam Housing Sony A7r5
Is there any sort of mounting point on the back of the monitor? Or I guess to short float arms to a triple clamp could work. Just trying to think of ways which then don't need even more flotation to compensate for.

Best cross bar for nauticam Housing Sony A7r5
This is a situation where some sort of mount fabricated to fit on a rigid float arm might be an option, especially since the monitor is quite negative. How much freedom of movement do you need?

FS: Nauticam NA-7D, Zen DP 100 mm glass dome, 20mm Nauticam extension ring, sea & sea 250 mm acrylic dome for nauticam n120, tokina 10-17mm fisheye
Do you know the difference between the Zen 100mm for the Tokina vs Canon 8-15?

Sounds like a good excuse to look for a smaller, less demanding rig!

Changing knob on Inon Z-330
It's likely a roll pin.

Fibre Optic Cables? Make your own....
Left the cables very long but easy to stow under the bands I have on my arms. Found something in my junk drawer to get them attached to the housing as well.

Clamp trade
I'm very much hoping to do a set for a set, but perhaps you'd sell?

Hi from California
Looks like your current gear isn't holding you back!

Fibre Optic Cables? Make your own....
Still figuring out lengths and how I want to connect to the DSLR style connectors. Planning on working through that this afternoon.

Clamp trade
I have two Nauticam long clamps looking to trade for two Nauticam triple clamps. I have either regular or the MP version and could trade either.

I've received my Dave's cables kit, awesome amount of accessories included. Looking forward to setting it up.

Working Thesis: A Lens Cannot Exceed Its In-Air Optical Performance Underwater
I suppose a question might be if a very high quality fisheye like the 8-15 used with a teleconverter and "defished" can produce similar IQ in the corners to an equivalent FOV rectilinear?

Who has tried a Seafrogs aluminum housing?
I dive with someone using one with an XT5 and he has nothing but praise. Compared to the Salted housing I had there is no comparison. I'd be very tempted by one at a future date.

Working Thesis: A Lens Cannot Exceed Its In-Air Optical Performance Underwater
What about lenses that are not well regarded above water such at the Tokina 10-17 which has quite a following for UW use?

DPV Camera Mount Options
No DM arrived. I'm considering a redesign using magnets.

Ready to test in water - n120 Port Extensions for Nauticam Housings
The pressure pot could likely do a dome port but not a housing and port. It's also 80# and now in Victoria. The "cap" would be best designed as a hemisphere, not a flat shape.

Ready to test in water - n120 Port Extensions for Nauticam Housings
I just bought a large 10 bar pressure pot from a guy in Bellingham, then delivered it to a friend in Victoria. Would have fit almost anything. What about designing sealed end caps to allow pressure testing of parts off the camera?

I enjoy some out of the box thinking!

Ready to test in water - n120 Port Extensions for Nauticam Housings
This is very exciting. Thinking about custom stuff like N100 down to N85 without adding extension to allow using ASP-C Sony lenses on FF for when I want a more compact setup. Or Nikonos adapters for cameras other than Sony. Basically the weird stuff few people want.

DPV Camera Mount Options
In my experience shooting stills with the camera forward is very challenging, although a monitor or possibly angled eyepiece would help. The mount I designed has detents at 90 degree increments and has a toolless camera removal which works okay underwater.

UW Imaging Evolution Thoughts.......
There are also the 3d printed fixed focus/aperture lenses using the optical components from disposable cameras.

DPV Camera Mount Options
I have a 3D printable mount that has been tested up to ASPC sized cameras, I'd be willing to share the CAD file so long as you don't commercialize it.
