FS: Full Frame Fisheye lens system for Nauticam owners using Nikon Mirrorless Cameras
Hi @Walt Stearns Just found this post and I am very interested in finding about more about how a Canon EF lens works on a Z8 camera with the Fringer II adapter and a TC. I am currently in the process of migrating from an OM-1 to a Z8. I use a zoom fisheye setup in my OM-1 with the Canon EF 8-15 and a metabones smart adapter which works great. I thought it was not possible to use a Canon lens in a Z camera but it looks like it is! So my question is, do you think the Canon EF 8-15 + Fringer II + Kenko 1.4 DGX would work in continuous autofocus and 3d tracking? In the second hand market the Nikon 8-15 appears to be almost double the price of the Canon. Also are the ports required the same as if you were mounting the nikon 8-15 as in the Nauticam port chart? I would not want to compromise on autofocus capabilities if that is the trade off. Thanks

Questions about 45° Viewfinder NA-32203
Thank you. Yes I meant the collar is not long enough so cannot fit the retaining o-ring. This clarifies and confirms I currently have a 32205 but I need a 32203 to fit my NA Z8 housing https://www.nauticam.cn/upload/portal/20190124/201901241132017209.pdf My confusion came from the fact that the description for the 32203 says 'DSLR' which the Z8 is not so I assumed I needed a MIL collar adapter instead of a DSLR collar adapter. It looks like the old 45 DSLR viewfinder just works on the Z8 https://waterpixels.net/forums/topic/3071-questions-about-45%C2%B0-viewfinder-na-32203/#findComment-20934 I will ask my Nauticam dealer anyway but I wanted to avoid the 'is not fully compatible' response as I understand this can be resolved by reducing the viewfinder size on the Z8 to small which has appeared in multiple posts already.

Questions about 45° Viewfinder NA-32203
Hi Dave, I have been using the attached 45 viewfinder with my Nauticam OM-1 housing and wanted to use the same viewfinder with a Z8 housing however it does not appear to fit well as it is 'too short'. I have seen different collar adapters online but I am not sure which one I need as I dont know the exact model of my viewfinder, it could be a na-32205 or na-32203. Does anyone know what collar adapter I need for it to work with a Nauticam Z8? Thanks

Kenko Teleconverter and Nikon camera bodies
Ah yes! I saw your creations here https://waterpixels.net/forums/topic/671-proven-3d-printed-parts-for-underwater-imaging/ Super useful and I will definitely be printing the TC zoom gear version for the 8-15 and the 24-50 zoom gear too when I pull the trigger on the Z5 II...

Kenko Teleconverter and Nikon camera bodies
Does anyone know if continuous autofocus with 3D tracking works on the Z bodies with the 8-15 + FTZ + Kenko TC DG combination?

Metabones Canon EF to M43 T Smart Adapter Mark II
Thank you, yes AF area point presets do help a lot with focusing in low viz with the OM1 I find.

Metabones Canon EF to M43 T Smart Adapter Mark II
Hi @Chris Ross , I have version 1 of the EF to m43 Metabones adapter and I am having issues with AF-C to the point I can only use it with AF-S which is not great for moving subjects and forces me to recompose all the time or get the odd blurry shot every now and then. I am running the latest firmware on the adapter and the camera (OM-1). I was wondering if version II which claims to have full PDAF compatibility has this issue. Have you used the 8-15 with AF-C or AF-C + tracking? Cheers

MFO-3 with Olympus 60mm macro
I have not tried it in blackwater yet but based on my experience using it in Misool last month yes it should work really well (if compared to bare oly 60mm). The MFO-3 will transform your Oly 60mm, you will be able to focus literally on the flat port, like 1cm to 1.2m or so (you can check the range online) and anything in between. The autofocus works better and faster in good light and also much better in low light compared to not having the MFO-3. Once you have it attached there is no reason to not have the MFO-3 on all the time unless you want more magnification. The ideal setup imho is to have a double flip adapter mounted to your flat port and have the MFO-3 and CMC-1/SMC-1 (M43/FF) mounted so you can flip depending on what you are shooting, by default having the MFO-3 on all the time. See some pictures I took with the Oly 60mm and MFO-3 so you can get an idea of the different conditions it can get a shot on pigmy seahorse - between 1-5cm from flat port anemone - low ambient light (no focus light), fast moving subject, focus was able to lock and follow mandarin fish - night dive, very low light (non direct red light on subject), still was able to focus on fast moving subject I used these examples as I know I would have not been able to take the pigmy and mandarin shots without the MFO3, the anemone shot just maybe but would have struggled more with distance and autofocus.

MFO-3 with Olympus 60mm macro
@Chris Ross thanks mate really appreciated. @Architeuthis "The Zuiko 60mm macro and the MFO-3 apparently cover the range of two different setups: #1 Zuiko 60mm and #2 Zuiko 12-40mm behind domeport." This is interesting as I understood having the MFO-3 on with a 60mm was 'like' having a 30mm macro equivalent 'wet' solution which as expected is great for muck locations like Lembeh. I will most likely get one too for my upcoming LOB trip from Ambon to Misool in October. Will post some pictures as well for reference

Nauticam SMC-3
It is great to see compatibility for M43 lenses!!! I had a look but cannot find what the actual working distance of the Oly 60mm + SMC-3 is. Would be great to compare it with the Oly 60mm + CMC-1 but I am assuming the SMC-3 would be more flexible.
