Interested in UW photography for many years starting with Nikonos cameras.  Have used several types of digital cams most recently with Sony A6XXX cameras.  I've only been a warm water vacation diver so don't get out as much as I like, especially in the past 4-5 years.  Hopeful though that will change in 2025.  Just noticed the new site  - thanks for starting this.  -Irv

Welcome! Always glad to see more PNW divers. I'm in Seattle and we have an extremely active dive community here, with tons of amazing diving around Puget Sound. Between Puget Sound, Hood Canal, and British Columbia, we have the best diving in North America. If you are not diving at home, I strongly encourage you to look into it!

You'll get in a lot more diving and improve your photography skills quickly if you can just drive yourself to a day of great dives with friends.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi neighbor!  I’m on Camano Island and learned to dive at Edmonds many years ago, but I’m pretty much exclusively a warm water diver now. Though I do find myself looking at the Sound and browsing drysuits a lot lately. . .

We are close, I'm in North Seattle.  I have friends who dive in the sound but I never got around to diving locally.  But its a good point about driving and diving.....
