I wrote a substantial comment just now in Word, but now find I can't copy and paste it into my intended Waterpixels comment frame.

Don't want to write it out again..

Any ideas? I tried converting it into txt, but still no go

Hmmmm…… odd. I thought that did work. Try cutting and pasting into Notes and then copying from Notes. Ive been able to copy from Notes into Waterpixels.

I’m sure Rich will take a look at the issue.

I don't use Word, I've got Libre Open Office Write, here's copy and paste:

checking to see if it will paste into Waterpixels

It pasted but ignored an Indent on the second line. I just used Ctrl-C and then right click to paste. Not sure why it wouldn't work for you. I'm on Win10 and using Firefox.

Should have no problem pasting in to a reply. This version of the forums does strip some formatting but should paste as plain text without a problem.

Maybe because I'm a Mac user?

I haven't tried Notes but will next time.

In the meantime, I laboriously rewrote the comment.

But I do prefer drafting and editing something long in Word. Same as I do when posting say an eBay ad, which copies fine.

I've tried a various amount of ways to try to duplicate the issue but I can not seem to.

Def try pasting to notes then copy & paste from notes and see if that works.

If you want to attach a copy of your word doc then I can test it maybe there is a formatting that is being copied that the forum does not like so it is not allowing it to paste?
