How NOT to travel light
That is very true TimG, provided you have the right credit score and willingness/funds to handle the membership fees. Most of my CC are made of metal, aluminum mostly, but not titanium. My income is not high enough to afford one yet.

Oh, the excess, excess baggage fees. I can detect the smell of a melting credit card all the way here.

FS: Full Frame Fisheye lens system for Nauticam owners using Nikon Mirrorless Cameras
I am selling a Sigma 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Fish-Eye Lens with a Canon EF Lens to Nikon Z Camera Autofocus Adapter and a Howshot 140mm / 5.5-inch optical glass domeport. Unlike the Nikon F mount model, Sigma’s 15mm f/2.8 EX DG Fish-Eye Lens for Canon EF/EF-S DSLR cameras, the lens features a autofocus motor is built in. This feature makes this model Sigma 15 fisheye far more suitable for use with electronic lens mount adaptors made for Nikon Z, Canon R and Sony E mount camera systems. When I first got this lens, I had trimmed the lens shade down so that it would work behind a small dome port. The lens still works perfectly well as it did before hand and the glass is just as pristine with no scratches or marks as it did when it came out the box new. The Fringer EF-NZ II Canon EF Lens to Nikon Z Camera Autofocus Adapter that is included in this package allows EF- or EF-S-mount lenses to be used on a Nikon Z-mount cameras. Electronic communication between an attached camera and lens is supported, enabling autofocus along with auto exposure features as well as generating Exif metadata to your photo files. Of all the adaptors I have tried out for using Canon EF-EOS lens on a Nikon Z8 bodies Fringer appears to allow this lens autofocus to function the most natively in all regards. I am also throwing in a Kenko HD Pro 1.4 DGX Teleconverter that can be used with Sigma (Canon EOS mount) 15mm fisheye Lens and Fringer EOS to Z adapter. When the 1.4x teleconverter is in place between the Fisheye lens and Canon EF Lens to Nikon Z Adapter, the lenses broad 180° diagonal field of view is reduced by approximately 29% effectively rendering it as a simi fisheye lens covering 124 - 127°. And, yes the autofocus still continues to work, but just a tad slower. The domeport included with this setup is a Howshot 140mm Optical Glass Fisheye dome that shares the same size, optical characteristics, materials and N120 mounting system as Nauticam’s N120 140mm Optical Glass Fisheye Dome Port. And yes, the lens shade on the Howshot dome is removeable. Domeport comes with a neoprene port cover. I should note: When the 1.4 Teleconverter is incorporated in the setup, a 20mm extension ring should be added to maintain optical performance. Package price (shipping not included) $950. You will need to PM me to discuss shipping options.

New Seacam water contact optic
Having a look at Seacam’s new Optical Precision Port (OPP) at DEMA, the size and weight of the show’s sample model (built for Nikon’s F mount AF-S 16-35mm) overall is much lighter than Nauticam’s WACP and FCP ports. The flat front on its own has a similar weight range as one of Seacam’s macro ports. The extension port is made of Delrin which is lighter than aluminum. The internal optical that screws in the filter thread (72mm, 77mm & 82mm will be the three primary thread sizes available) of your wide-angle prime or wide-angle zoom in the 16-35mm range weighs about the same as a Nuaticam SMC super macro lens. The extension ring for the front port will be provided in different lengths based on the wide-angle lens you are using with the OPP’s internal correction lens. For example, if your wide-angle happens to be something like Sony’s E-mount FE 16-25mm f/2.8 G Lens or FE PZ 16-35mm f/4 G Lens, the OPP’s overall assembled weight and size will be less than that of a 180mm to 230mm domeport with an extension.

Fisheye options for Sony FF
I would be over the moon if Nikon would make a Z series 15-24mm Fisheye zoom. But, that's just a dream since they don't seem interested in making any kind of fisheye lens.

Canon EF 8-15 f/4L Fisheye 1.4x Teleconverter FOV Degrees
I have made attempts at using the Nikon Z 1.4 Teleconverter with the Megadap Canon EF to Z Adapter with a Canon 8-15 Fisheye on my Nikon Z8. I went even as far as removing the filth lug the receiving end of the Nikon Z 1.4 Teleconverter so that anything with Z mount would properly fit it. The reasoning for Megadap’s EF to Z adapter was that the inside was large enough out of the box to accommodate the protruding element on the Z 1.4 Teleconverter. The end result, I could not make it happen. Every time I turned on the camera, I would get a message that this was an unacceptable lens with a blacked viewfinder and rear LCD. My guess is that there is something in the electronics that prevents it from being compatible outside of a select group of Nikon lenses.

Kenko Teleconverter and Nikon camera bodies
This combo - Canon EF f/2.8 15mm fisheye / Kenko TELEPLUS HD pro 1.4x DGX Teleconverter for Canon EF / Fringer EF-NZ II adapter – does work on a Nikon Z8 but don’t expect the Canon 15mm fisheye to be super responsive as the lens motor not a silent wave type like the Canon and Nikon 8-15mm fisheyes.
