  1. But you will need a good insurance... I didn't trust to 100% and in the time waterproof parts. I made a lot on floating part llike arm) it work one year or more.... but at the end water is comming in.
  2. Wouah.... No and I can not recommanded to do such a thing.. I have some experience in 3d printing for underwater objects... It works... 1 time 10 time 100 times or more .. and it break or you have some water in .... OK 614 € but what is the price of you camera etc ????
  3. Hi @Kraken de Mabini I wrote a new report (in french) following my last stay at the Black Sand Dive Retreat. You can take a look here Séjour plongées aux Raja Ampat et Lembeh du 23/02 au 18/03/2025 - Compte-rendus de voyages - Plongeur.com - Le site de la plongée sous marine The first part is Raja Ampat.
  4. Same for me. all the arms are in the diving baggage.
  5. Small update of using the MFO-1 Maximun distance is less as what I believe... I estimate now on 1 meter with the RF100. I probably made 95 % of the pictures with it the last 4 days.
  6. What I noticed is that it is much more easier to take such pictures... before it was complicate to put the focus then it allways go at the bacground. I love that
  7. Hi I try for the first time today my MFO-1 with a Canon RF100 max distance beetween 1 and 2 m... but the first impression ... Waouh 🥰 Now I go watching the first shoot.
  8. If I navigate without reference... only need to go in a direction I have my camera at the front of me and I swing straight to find the wrack or what ever I show the compass every 5 seconds 😉 it's totaly something else
  9. Left right or up it s the same you don't look at the viewfinder 😉 On the top of the housing I have allready a gopro or a focus lamp or a compas... depending of the situation but never without something
  10. Blackwater Dive... hummm ok a good argument if you have the information on the viewfinder. Otherwise ??? Personaly I have one dive computer on each arm..I only need to look at right or at left a little bit and I have all information I need. Also the pressure of my tank.
  11. Hi Tino Thanks for the solution.. nice idea.... but I didn't understand why attached the computer at the photo housing... For me it MUST be on the diver. Sorry but if you have good argument I ll happy to know it.

Welcome Ross If you see a diver with an Isotta R5 housing and a red BCD a red rashgard red.... etc... next week under water, or on a yellow boat from the BSDR. It's me 😉
  13. On my side after some long trips with my 2 retra pro X I had never problems ... hope it will be the same in the futur. (starting in 2 days when we arrive in Raja Ampat 😉 ) And naturally with the new maxi I pre-ordered .... when I received it. But this discussion here give me a bad feeling... but it's only a feeling ... wait & see.

Welcome Rodrigo, Did you inform your bank manager?... 🤣
  15. I've found some on Amazon PH PandaHall 2PCS Mousquetons à gâchette Mousqueton pivotant en Acier Inoxydable 6,7cm Pinces à Pince de Homard Crochet à œil pivotant pour mât de Drapeau La Laisse du en Sangles d'appareil Photo : Amazon.fr: Sports et Loisirs
  16. I try to find that on Amazon... ir's not urgent.. I have other "problems" at the moment.... (put all my equiment in the lagage" 😜)
  17. It's realy not the most important for me, BUT if I invest (a lot of €) I don't want to be blocked because I need an update with a new strobe or firmeware of my strobe... Today online/remote uodate is a standard for a lot of electronic parts. I believe that for you it will be a "good" sale argument For the moment I have the Isotta Trigger in my Isotta housing.. ONLY Manuel. Your is TTL AND HSS... and my Retra are booth that's the reason I want to try your solution with the external Trigger. I'll be able to try and don't change anything on the actual setup. Only put your trigger at the Isotta housing. If I invest in a new solution why not a flexibel one I'm waiting for your price and the web site where I can order it.
  18. Thanks but I have already a lanyard with this one (I bought it).. I found it good. I want to build other with paracorde 😉
  19. It's a lot... For me an remote update of the firmeware is mandatory The shipping cost, the taxes and the lost time if I need to send the trigger back is not acceptable.
  20. Hi @Michael Where did you buy this parts ? Thanks Hugues
  21. Thank you for this video... it confirm my optinion after a compétition at the "Salon de la plongée" in Paris..
  22. It was for 4 strobe It was the idea use double connector to split the fiber . I find your solution really nice. I'll probably order one as spare if I have some trouble with my internal (isotta triger) It allready happen during a trip. And try the HSS. 😉
  23. Did you plan to build a model with 3 or 4 leds?
  24. Wouah this will probably be the main problem Powerfull and only 4 AA..... this can be good together I see with my 8 AA on the Retra is a "problem" 3 dive max some times only 2 that's mean with 4 AA --> 1 one dive ??? hummm ok if you make only 50 shoot each dive but who make that 😉
  25. CaolIla replied to dhaas's post in a topic in Compact System
For me, 7 days are too short. We made 4 cruises each 10 days... excelent duration... 14 is probably a little bit too long but if I'll make a choice...14 😉 The problem of 14 is also the price 😞
